29 pieces are extremely doable. I usually order two 10 pieces with baked beans and mac and cheese, and that's usually gone in two episodes of Martin.

It says on Wikipedia that the Top Cat Challenge only takes place once a year. If I ever took on this challenge my goal would be to eat at least 19 catfish within the one hour time limit.

I remember when I first tried catfish. Loved it at first bite
Going at a 2:1 ratio of cornmeal and flour will let the fish keep that crispy crust and also let it get a nice golden brown. At first look I thought those catfish overcooked.
Growing up in Nebraska & South Dakota , deep fried Catfish has always been one of my favorites.
We still go out nearly every summer and catch Catfish , Spoonbill , Walleye and Bass and fry all that stuff up .
It's so much fun to have a yard / garage party with fried fish & fixins with plenty of beer and playing cards.
Fried fish and deer chislic with saltine crackers and homemade tartar sauce for the fish.
Nothing beats it

In Texas we eat them fresh head on catfish. We chopped that catfish & either fry it, filet or throw that sucker in a soup. This Oklahoma catfish looks delicious though! No doubt.
