Last week went to yercaud with my family in my Tiago AMT... Used Manual mode for climbing up and down the hills.. Its very easy to drive in hills with Manual mode...

Nice one Mr Diwakar.. Even I have driven my punch AMT in wayanad and the performance is as expected. I have tried steep hills with narrow roads. I was doubtful on the performance, but toy surprise it climbed well. It has good creep function at manual mode
Amt version if stopped on steep hills then while starting again does it roll back since no hill assist available?
I have Tiago AMT. I use Manual Mode in Hills... very easy to drive in hills with manual mode..

Nice Video bro. I am using Triber and recently went to Kodaikanal with 6 members and full luggages. I cab able drive the hills smoothly, but there is a minimal power lag when compare with other 4 cylinder cars. But this is not the big issue.

I thought of buying tata punch AMT car initially but 3 reasons that stopped to buy is it doesn't have hill hold assist, 3 cylinder engine and after sales service.
What is the problem if 3 cylinder engine ? It's fuel efficient
@@ganeshk9635 Yes bro it will be efficient in fuel but less responsive compared to 4 cylinder engine. So you may face some lag in power.
3 cylinder can be powerful too, you should try ford's 1.2 dragon 3cyl engine

Tata cars are too good.
But Very very worst service, after my first service battery was dead, i purchased in nov 2023, within one month battry issues in my tata nexon, and taken into tuticorin tata service center in 16th dec 2023. And they kept in water logging area. After heavy flood was happened in tuticorin 18th dec 2023 my entire car was spoiled by them in flood.
Dont buy any products in tuty tata derik dealer.
Worst customer service support.
And still now they are not allowing me to see my vehicle.
And service center manager saran babu, & ganesa moorthy, is behaving in a very rude way.
I entered into service center and found my vehicle in fully sinking condition.
Even if i kept it in home, i can save it in a proper way. i lost 15 lakhs, i asked more than 3 days about my vehicles, and got the reply as vehicle is in safe condition.
Still they refused to see my vechile atleast.
More than 10 new vehilces spoiled by this derik tata service center thoothukudi.
I have all recorded voice calls. But still i dont know how to recover my vechile, i used only 2500km. Really pathetic experience. This is my first car.
Please Dont go with tata derik tuty, tirunelveli, kovilpatti. All are trying to cheat the innocent customers.😢😢😢

Sir, Seltos IMT wil be well suit for hills drive and bumper to bumper traffic, I have tried it in hills and it works really well because it is a type of semi automatic
it depends on how much you going to spend for your new car. If you need Automatic car within 10 Laks this is best car .
Also depend on usage. If you are going to use for long travel often with more comfortable then this is the best car if you compensate the price....it worth for price
Hello Sir, i have also own tata punch amt. mine amt car climb easily on hill in automatic mode, I don’t need to switch in manual mode, plz try once in automatic mode to climb ghat or steep hill, you will not face issue like rollback or it not climb on hill.
It has very low end torque so you car will hold it on hill and when you accelerate it will start climbing easily.
Sir I am also thinking of buying adventure rhythm AMT..but very much confuse about how it will perfor in hills as I am from Assam and we have many hill destinations..will it perform well in steep hills?
@@hrishikeshbhattacharjya994 Yes, punch has best low end torque. I ran almost 3000KM in hill area and I dont face any issue.

I have been driving Ignis AMT Delta since 2018 for 35K+Kms and has driven to Ooty, Kodai, Yercaud, Waynad, several times in Automatic mode and not even once I faced climbing issues on AMT and that means TATA Punch AMT is not as efficient as Ignis AMT...that too Punch is A 3 cylinder and Ignis is A 4 cylinder car which has more Torque and refinement in gears and pulling power.... Jai Maruti Ignis AMT Delta.....

I have checked personally all cars in Hyundai, tata, susuzi, and finally I opted for my 2nd small car Hyundai i 10 though i am not fan of Hyundai for their slow engine.. but i realised stable power of those engine. First impressions after driving tata punch test drive i felt not great for its hype.. now u r revealing how it struggle power on hills.
It's all our mindset i didnt say it i s great however i feel safe than other cars.

Please remove the plastics from the seats as they may emit hazardous fumes when parked under the sun for a long time. The plastic is of low quality and not advisable to keep for a longer time.

No ECO on Hill only City mode for better power from engine.

during downlslope we need to use brakes frequently but if you switch to Manual Gear in automatic we can use engine brake to slow down
How did you manage it without hill hold ??? Both legs??
we don't need hill hold as tata punch has creep functionality and we can hold for a second. i will place a separate video guide on this

In amt also any car should go smooth changing geers . But unfortunately only ur tata punch is struggling which is normal and failure car in tata but they project as stable and strong car with 5 star. Let me say u brother, get a Any grand i10, it will run smooth .. for ur knowledge brother all amt cars these days run smooth on hills with various pulling power. All amt cars on hills don't need mannual gears. I have XUV 300 and recently small car i10 which is powerless but not at struggling on hills. Thanks.

I am not a punch lover but tata cars steering feed back are really good compared with maruti and Hundai. You will get confident while driving tata (recent) cars, even though they have to work on their engines (for power and reliability).

I should accept that it's bad in the below points:
1. Gives u a commanding SUV seating position compared to hatchbacks in this price segment.
2. It looks stunning.
3. 5 star global ncap rating.
4. Really good quality interiors and good thud while closing door showing build quality compared to grand i10.
5. Good offroading capability with high ground clearance compared to other hatchbacks in this price segment.
Really bad they have these issues.
They have one good point though which all of us highlight:
1. Engine which is not peepy or sportier compared to Suzuki engines. Very true. Tata engine gets the job done but not as peppy as it's counterparts.
Hope tata improves 😂😂.
U have not come across buy days in kolli. Truck will kill ur patience.. they will not move not go lit bit fast up or down roads.

My 10 year old santro xing gave 20 kmpl mileage on my recent travel to yercaud with ac on almost 75% of the entire travel.
Petrol engine is very worst in power and refinement also in Mileage .... in TATA cars ... Diesel is 🔥🔥🔥 .....
No more diesel engine in future only Petr ol or ev or hybrid vehicles. 😭

Petrol engines will be discontinued in budget segment only, still SUVs will have diesel engines.
