Hallo sir! i wanna ask you about 6 degrees of freedom at elastomeric bearing. i have an assignment to make a bridge model with elastomeric bearings at CSI Bridge but i am so confused about how to input the 6 degrees of freedom, should i use fixed, partially fixed, or free? thank you sir
I have always wondered how bridges were constructed to be simply supported. Thank you for the concise explanation.

If elastomeric are all roller supports, then how the structures be stable theoretically and practically?
it's behaviour is like roller rocker...that doesn't mean it's roller rocker.
If both sides of the grinder was given with this bearing, then will it act like a beam with roller support on two sides?
Elastomeric bearing is summation of Roller and Rocker
Thanks
