Somebody know where I can find a diy proyect for these speakers ?? Cabinets schematics drivers crossovers?? Love the horn sound but can’t find them like this!! Help. Thanks for the video.
I have 2441 too and used them before I found the 2482. I like the 2441 but prefer 2482 in this setup mostly due to the fact that I can cross them lower then the 2441 in these large horns(450hz). I also think they have a little bit more "body". The 2482 cant run as high as the 2441 though. I think the tweeters come in at around 4k in this setup.
The bass horns are not based on the JBL 4520 design. In fact its a prototype horn that some friends made to try out a two way speaker with one 15" woofer and a 1" horn. I got it from them and rebuilt it. I wanted more output and added another woofer. Im not very pleased with it because of the cancellation between the output of the horn and the direct radiation of the woofers. I intend to rebuild them again and add a compression chamber over the woofers(75L), converting them to a front loaded horn which will get rid of the cancellation issue. There are some images of the transition of these horns in the link above(far down in the thread).
I think your neighbors are at the front door! Lol. I bet that thumps the chest! Sounds great even through headphones.

I think it's a JBL 4520 schematic for the cabs, the old tonka soundsystem in la used to have these scoops

Fantastic but the wife acceptance factor is 0. :)
