Okay. I'll be honest: I have been a closet Mrekk hater for the longest time. (For petty reasons I don't care to explain). I refused to say he is the best player ever, ever since he became number one rank.
However, I have always wanted someone to get a DT score on this map. Even before Vaxei's play. I was going to give that player unbridled respect regardless of how I feel about them. Now that Mrekk got the score I have most wanted to see achieved, I got no choice but to call him the GOAT. Not that anyone should care, BTW. Safe to say, this is my favorite score of his.

Been waiting for this score after Mathi and Vaxei put very close attempts on this map, and to see it finally come to light is such a nice thing to see in this day and age.

I was there, I can't believe I witnessed history right before my eyes. Shige raided him and I was contemplating whether to close stream or not, and oh god. I was so right for not closing the stream. Before this, he was attempting Blankfield - GOODBYE with HR and got a 2 miss run on the square jumps near the end. He was so close earlier. Mark was popping off.
Gotta thank HappyStick for his recommendation to mrekk on playing this map. This is his 3rd try (when I was watching) from DT only, sh*tmissed the beginning of the map, then this retry was the run. Chat went bonkers on this play.

I was also there. I got 10 minutes prior to him trying the score. It was amazing witnessing ascension to heaven hr and goodbye hr one after the other and to top it all off, an incredible score from Mr.ekk.

Who would have thought this year that someone going to be finally FC on this map. I was originally hype for Vaxei was going to be one fc this year. But I was wrong, someone else managed to FC that of course Mrekk himself was one who going to fc this map. Congrats to him and the score be achieved.
This has cemented mrekk in my perspective as a true number one player
My respect for his skill is now raised to new hieghts and the culmination of his history is now immortalized in the form of this score.
