East Linton for Preston Mill

10 days after the opening of the new East Linton station (just in time to get the residents of East Linton to the Edinburgh Christmas markets), I visited East Linton by train on the last open day at Preston Mill for 2023.

Great you managed to go in the end and a very enjoyable watch, I've found it interesting how East Linton and indeed Reston have new stations but the services arnt as regular what most new stations are but then again its just down to georphry and the services. Reston actually gets more trains than East Linton as LNER stop there where as they dont at East Linton and it also has gaps of up to 5 hours at certain points of the day where as Reston doesn't, Hope you manage to try Barrhead out on a 380 as they are a big improvment
