I'm going to just comment on the keys on this organ. that grainy wood is just so amazing to see, and then to hear that instrument in action. oh I love it! straight up gorgeous.
Very beautiful! I love Corelli, but I haven't heard it in a long time! Jonathan's performance is incredible and Tom's video is wonderful with so many details of this beautiful Church, its wonderful organ and nativity scene and, most importantly, our incredible organist! Thank you both for this beautiful gift!
Wishing Jonathan, Tom, your family, friends and staff at Scott Brothers a Very Happy, Peaceful and Holy Christmas and may the Joy of the Child Jesus remain in your hearts during the New Year.
I LOVE this Christmas Concerto, and have since I first heard it as a teenager! What a thrill to hear an organ transcription of it by Jonathan Scott! A sublime and superb rendition of a sublime and magnificent piece of music! Thank you for this, and to Tom for the beautiful video tour of Santa Maria la Antigua, and for the views of Jonathan as he plays. This is a great Christmas treat! 🎵🎄😄
The organ's sound is sungible and the piece is sublime. I really liked the images of the Christmas nativity scene. I want to wish you two, Jonathan and Tom, a Merry Christmas and may all your wishes come true in the New Year. Thank you very much for the videos, which are wonderful gifts that we, your fans, receive throughout the year. A big hug! 🎶🙌🎹👍❤️🙏✝️🫶👏😘🙋🏻♀️
Thanks for the review, I must say I’m envious that you could be present. The warm acoustic in that church comes across in Tom’s recording but in person it must have been amazing.
Hallo!! Certainley a very challenging piece to play this Corelli Christmas concerto but so beautiful. SHAPO!!!! Thank you B B. With love from the Netherlands ❤❤❤❤

Truly an interesting organ. I wonder how " it" felt being played by someone so accomplished as Jonathan. Tom, what can I say but thanks, you've done a beautiful job as always PS I've listened to this performance about four times now, and am enjoying it more and more each time I hear it.. XX
I love baroque music but I'm usually a severe critic of transcriptions. But the only criticism I can level at this performance is that it didn't go on an hour or so longer--because its fantastic!
That is lovely. I enjoy your playing very much. Tom does an excellent job with the audio/video. His work is most impressive. Question: what are the three toggle looking pedals to the left of what I presume is the Crescendo or Swell pedal?
Never got what was "Christmas" about this piece. Great piece of baroque music though! And fantastic arrangement! Did this organ use a facade from an old organ a la Aukland Town Hall? While I could see that stylistic choice the facade looks to be a lot older than 2013.

Danke für diese wunderbare , klangvolle 🙏 ✨Adventsoase ♥️ 💫

Wish I could hear this music, sitting in this hall and seeing the back of the musician... It's divine
An excellent arrangement of the Corelli "Christmas" Concerto Grosso .Also well portrayed visually by Tom.
Wishing Jonathan, Tom, your family, friends and staff at Scott Brothers a Very Happy, Peaceful and Holy Christmas and may the Joy of the Child Jesus remain in your hearts during the New Year.

Well that was different & very beautiful! Great views of the organ case & church. Thanks for sharing. xx
Szívhez szóló előadás.
Az orgona hangja virágzik.
Nagyon kedvelem ezt a két srácot.
Hihetetlen, amit csinálnak.
Gratitude for music in last year (2023), Marry Christmas to all of you.

Very beautiful performance🎄love the organ sound⭐️ Wonderfully played⭐️thank you🎄
Very nice transcription! I think - all Concerti grossi by Corelli and Hendel must be played by organ!
Grazie, Maestro.
some of the sounds this organ makes are really beautiful

Thanks lads! 🎄🎄🎄🎄❤️
The faceted façade pipes are definitely interesting. I can't say I've seen that before
That is one of the specialties of the German organ builder Gerhard Schmid.
@@matejpodstensek It's strikingly beautiful. Is it a speaking pipe?
@@MarcMercier1971 Yes, these are usually all speaking pipes.

Sounds great! Would love to have more info on organ though!
The stop list for this organ is listed at the top - just click on ‘more’
Thats pretty unique keys
That is lovely. I enjoy your playing very much. Tom does an excellent job with the audio/video. His work is most impressive. Question: what are the three toggle looking pedals to the left of what I presume is the Crescendo or Swell pedal?
Those are the couplers (there are five all together: three pedal and two manual couplers).
@@matejpodstensek Sorry. I just realized I said Tim and not Tom in my previous comment. I beg your pardon.
Which make are your organ shows Jonathan?
