The title track for me is a song that speaks volumes to me. As someone who is still reeling from a break up 14 years ago, the part about wanting her to have the life in her dreams even if its not with me and the part about being abandoned are so meaningful. Ill never get over you casey. Nobody will ever replace you and i promise to never love anyone but you.
Omg this record is top tier and talking heads is a peak northlane song so he'll yeah with that intro. Night terrors and delusion are my top picks on this LP. Also, in an interview Brian said this album was heavily influenced by invent animate and architects. I honestly feel like both IA and currents have been in this binary star thing since they started. Both are top of the game
It's easy to see how much Currents have grown (especially Brian with singing) since this, and the newer music is great, but the wild riffs on this album are still unmatched by them.

You said you like to do things chronologically so u kind of really need to check out currents next ep it's not long, but for sure atleast forever marked, into despair and the rope are amongst their best works and I think those 3 in particular will hit you like a ton of bricks. Also there is a band I think you will love, and they barely get mentions so I think it would be amazing if you checked out "lost in separation" they have lots of awesome stuff but I would suggest -if there is love, as an introduction. Would make my day to see them get some recognition they deserve as well as for you to find such a great band. Ps that's an awesome new intro u got 😆

One of my favorite metalcore albums of all time. Definitely feel like this one is overlooked sometimes. But it’s a masterpiece
