You know, I really respect the fact that in 1994, 17 years prior to Skyrim coming out, and 32 years prior to when Hammerfell may or may not come out, the map was already made. I really envy the OG gamers who looked at this screen 9:22 with wonder in their minds as to what the other lands will look like, then Finally got to see for themselves. Do any of you Role players ever stop to think about events in the series that have or haven't happened yet? For example, When you were playing through Oblivion, Serana is locked away in her tomb. Waiting for the Dragonborn to come and free her. And while you were freeing Serana, a hero neither you nor Serana ever met fought through the oblivion crisis and won.
Everything today has to look so real and the sounds have to be so HD that it takes away from the modern games nostalgic value maybe not for the young kids but as adults we see it
First time I saw where it all started. I was introduced to Elder Scrolls with Morrowind Game of the Year Edition, That's where it all started for me. It's great to see this.
I love the elder scrolls series, I am now 20, my first elder scrolls game was skyrim, then Oblivion and then Morrowind. I originally was skeptical of playing Arena and Daggerfall, but man, I adore Daggerfall and Arena has a certain charm as well.
I this game you bust outta jail, in Oblivion you bust outta jail, and in Skyrim you're a prisoner too. The start of each Elder scroll reads "In the beginning his a$$ was locked up."
Nah ur insane. Skyrim is the greatest game ever made that's why it keeps getting rereleased on newer consoles so we can continue to enjoy the greatest game ever made, sorry bud.
I'd playt this myself but i can't for the life of me figure out hte controls very well xD I'm glad and I appreciate the beginning of the ES franchise and since I'm an old nostalgic gamer, I like old games like this. In my opinion that was the best part. A more indirect and also more involving way to choose a class. Besides, since it is just questions in text form, it hasn't aged like the graphics and gameplay.
I've been meaning to watch Arena and your video looked the best.

...you can literally visit Skyrim or any other province in Arena
Omg the nostalgia - I played the heck out this game the Summer of 95
I spent so many nights to play to this wonderful game !
damn they really went too length with those ten questions s
Can you please tell me your settings? It’s very beautiful on yours and runs very smoothly!
Daggerfall next would be great!
Music in this game is incredible
Thanks for making it so much easier to enjoy a game truly worthy of my time and attention

Do you get to the Cloud District very often?
Movie Nerd ahh, what am I saying, of course you don’t. Lol.
There is an actual channel called Nazeem.
These games often have a certain charm to it which I often miss in games nowadays. And this game was before my time

Beautiful intro...and great music.

Not just Elder Scrolls.
It seems most Bethesda games do this.
Except Daggerfall.
Here we go!
Amazing background music.
Man...
To think how far skyrim has gone..
Skyrim hasnt got even attributes. Very "far"
Haha, if by far you mean backward and rookie friendly, sure.
@@dustinbarrett7216 just like Fallout 4 compared to Fallout 1
nice circlejerking we have here
According to these guys you can’t like Skyrim because the previous games had more attributes, lol
What a beautiful game
This game is really OG, they should remaster this instead of releasing skyrim 25 times

Classic game.
The game and even the music seem to be strongly influenced by Ultima Underworld.

You can remap the controls. It's not too hard. However attacking is kind of dumb because you have to click and drag, hah.
it is possible to play it on a website

That draw distance lmao
that game was made to run on 486 or Pentium PCs, and it was made in 1994, what do you expect?
If you use a light spell the draw distance is increased dramatically

Shannon Curry remakes are pointless
Better hope for Elder Scroll 6 to be good morrowind and Oblivion
You should be able to access them from the title screen, if you bought the DLC.
