Probably the best suond of randy i ever heard
I went to high school with Randy and I remember he brought a tape of him playing Scorpions song and he said that was him and I said no way. He ended up being a great friend and showed me some good guitar licks but I moved and lost contact. He was a great friend when we hung out and miss him.
I have to say there is something magical about that guitar playing.

It's not the playing, its the parts that were written. This guy is just parroting someone else's work.

@@cabanasanthony6799 Agreed Cabanas... He actually sounded much more fluid live than from what I've heard from unedited Randy himself. I also thought that watching this guy bend his neck while all the while using his whammy bar throughout was showing his mastering of the entire instrument. Good showing for sure...

He did a great job of capturing that RR style and the hude delay/reverb as well as cleanly hitting the runs. Dig it! Also love the use of the Marshall and likely a Disto + to get the grind!

Very good playing skills... RR is hard to emulate period and his signature "sound" as well the thing that people are also overlooking is the fact RR did not really care to much for his Jackson Guitars to start with. Particularly his Polka Dot Flying V. He said it was Awful to keep "in tune". That is why some songs where in a Standard Flat tuning both live and in recording. He just could not get that Guitar to tune properly. Now, he did not mind the White Charvel, bit though the body was huge. RR was a very small man persay. Now his Les Paul was a different story completely. He loved his 57 Les Paul and many other acoustic Guitars he owned. But, This band is definitely a great cover band.
Randy's Les Paul was a 1974 Custom.

@JohnPrescott - that guitar is not a Jackson, it's a one-off Karl Sandoval Concorde copy made for Chris Watts and lent to Randy Chambers for the RTO gigs.

It's not actually a Jackson, it was custom made by Sandoval, as I understand this guy playing guitar works for Sandoval, and if you look closely at the headstock it is hand painted with Sandoval in gold in the same style lettering as the original concord
Nick. Sorry about that. I thought it was a Jackson. The only Sandoval guitars I've seen were the bow tie's that RR had made by him. Thanks man.

this is a tribute to randy rhoads and most of you are dogging the guy playing the licks like you can play any better. i havent seen ANYONE who can play even remotely close to how randy played besides mr chambers.

Its a Carlos Sandoval made,exact copy of Randys white Jackson. Sandoval was,at one time a Jackson employee. Only difference is the name on the headstock............and of course this isn't reliced either like the 60 reliced versions Jackson produced in 07 to mark the 25th anniversary of his untimely death. Everythings the same other than that,pickups,tremolo and all.

Amazing playing but that V looks huge
He could get Randy's tone much better. He's got the amps and the amps can get an RR tone halfway but you need two choruses and distortion to perfectly get it
