- Broxbourne Woods, Hertfordshire.
L/S of an unusual vehicle travelling through a country lane. M/S reveals it to be a scooter with a sun hood on top (or as the narrator jokes "a scooter with a fringe on top"). This is also a way of keeping the rain off. The two girls travelling on the scooter are Venia Bottono (a shorthand typist) and riding pillion - actress Julie Alexander. They drive the scooter into a field and take some poles off the back of the bike. These are attached to the frame of the scooter to create the framework for a tent. Narrator observes: "It's so simple even a woman can put it together!"
The girls place canvas over the poles to create a groovy little tent. The girls put some bed bases into the tent then a lilo. End shot shows the girls lying inside the tent on their beds.
The scooter tent was designed by Victor Rosen. Nice little quirky film.

Some of them are quite clever.
And dumb people today think the narrator talked about IQ of women when he actually referred to an ongoing discussions that many women themselves stated the things for hiking and camping were to heavy and there was a need to find things easier to handle due to Women’s request of the time and women that designed a lot of such things… go learn history instead of judging others just because you are a bigot that hate men in a world where you can hardly even handle to make your own god damn coffee in the morning! As a woman I’ve struggled with so many tasks in a mans world. I’m so happy that now I can put up a tent. Just gotta learn how to drive now.

Julie Yvonne Alexander was born in 1938.
She retired from acting in 1962 and married the theatrical chartered accountant Robert Breckman in 1979.
Alexander was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 1993 at the age of 55 and was admitted to the Meadbank Nursing Centre in Battersea in London in 1997. She died there aged 64 in January 2003
After Alexander's diagnosis the Julie and Robert Breckman Centre at the PDSA PetAid hospital in Romford was set up and funded by the couple as a living will; it opened in 1999. Robert Breckman also funds The Breckman Student Nurse Bursary for the same organisation as a tribute to his late wife. The Romford centre has a display of memorabilia from Alexander's modelling and acting career as well as a collection of specially commissioned artwork.[6] In addition, in 2000 Julie and Robert Breckman donated the most important examples from their collection of prints by Francesco Bartolozzi as well as their collection of Staffordshire ceramics, to the Victoria and Albert Museum.
At the same time the Julie and Robert Breckman Staffordshire and Print Fund was established at the V&A for the purpose of adding to the Museum's print collection. Their donation complemented the Bartolozzi prints in the original Julie and Robert Breckman gift, as that had also included an example of a print in its original frame, Bartolozzi's 'Apotheosis of a Beautiful Female' of 1797.[7] The Julie and Robert Breckman Prints and Drawings Gallery at the Victoria and Albert Museum opened in 2005
