This would make a good low powered server. However, if you are considering using this as a server, keep in mind you can get a similarly speced Apollo Lake or Cherry Trail mini PC for about half the price of this one.
I'm sure it could probably run Ubuntu, I think they actually have a drop down option on their site for a "*NIX OS-Like" operating system (whatever the heck they mean by that, i'm assuming that means linux distro). azulletech.com/product/access3/
that would be a really nice machine then for a htpc. i mean sure win 10 license you get all nice but with the amount of ram it chews through and size i find a linux distro a more viable option.
Instead of buying this with a Linux OS installed by default I would instead choose the windows 10 version. After that the entire Windows OS drive could be backed up as an image file and Linux installed manually by the user as a replacement OS. This gives you the option of going back to Microsoft OS for any reason. One example being re-selling device later on.
You should make a hackintosh one day. They are relatively painless to create as long as you get a well-documented motherboard and you can use nearly anything from a Core 2 Duo to a i7-8700K.
True. I can hear it with my headphones. The audio quality in the review is good. good base and clarity. no hissing. I recommend you to stay "Full good quality on the audio".
I'd be interested if you could run (via USB)/install any Linux distros on it .. .even slim installs of say Plasma 5 nowadays can take up ALOT less space than Windows .. I (Linux user here) am talking about GB an GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGBs less
Apollo Lake is where things really started picking up for performance for these mini pcs. Also this is the reason for 32gb of emmc storage www.thurrott.com/windows/windows-10/151578/new-windows-10-consumer-sku-roadmap-revealedAKA the less sotrage the cheaper Windows 10 is for OEMS.
My laptop has a N3060 processor and intel graphics 400. I recommend using edge for youtube as it can play 4k smoothly on it. BTW the n3060 is horridly slow...
I would recommend at least an Intel Pentium or i3 Processor. My laptop from last year has an 7th generation i3 and it is plenty fast enough for everything that people generally use a laptop for.
Yeah, i made the mistake of buying a new laptop for 300€ when i could've bought an used business laptop. For example, a local online store sells a Fujitsu Lifebook S904 with an i5 for 299€. I do regret not searching around more.
@CovertBrony Just checked and there is a HP Elitebook 8470p for sale at 239€. Also there is a HP Elitebook 840 G3 for 579€. Hp recommends an MSRP of 2000€ 😄.
The mic sounds pretty good so it's all good in my book.
Would you recommend using this as a low-powered server, considering as it has the I/O for extra disk space?
By the way I was the first view :)

AA Computers and Technology would it work as an small sftp Server? Just to pull down some files or movies sometime.? Or to use owncloud?
@@joshua4302 Why not just use a raspberry PI and a USB hard drive? Or as said, an actual mini PC?

Another great video, could you use this small computer as a linux home server
cool little stick, I would like to see a Linux Distro due to storage limits considering windows takes up 40GB right away before drivers and updates.
I am actually curious if one could throw a flavor of ubuntu on it too make it even more snappier. maybe a video idea? :)

I am thinking something like Lubuntu, Linux Light, or Peppermint OS would do it really good.

How much amps does it use??
there's a weird hissing noise with the new microphone

If you were wearing a suit in this video, you would look like a villain from Jojo Bizarre Adventure
I had to watch the trailer to figure out what that was. The trailer has left me with many more questions XD
In which university you are studying in?
does it run runescape
best Q&A: can it run Crysis?
