Something my late parents always wanted to do was an Alaskan cruise. They never got to do one. When us kids were young, mom and dad took us on a 5 week land trip thru Canada to Alaska. I would love to take an Alaskan cruise for two reasons; a) To see Alaska from the sea perspective, and b) to honor my parents doing something they always wanted to do but poor health prevented.
Hawaii is on our bucket list.
I've been to 49 of the 50 states, Bahamas, Mexico, Canada, France, Italy, Greece, Egypt and Israel.

We went to Alaska for the first time in May of 2022... my family was quite honestly on the fence about going as we have always done warm weather cruises. Thankfully I'm the primary vacation planner of the group! Of course we had an amazing time, the whole experience was breathtaking! Needless to say on the drive home (to Wisconsin) they were all asking me when we could go back! My next bucket list cruise is a Mediterranean cruise and then the trip you and Jason did that went to the 3 continents - I would love to see the pyramids! Love all your content! Merry Christmas!

We are leaving in 3 weeks for our Panama Canal. My best friends and I will be doing the Norwegian fjords in the next 8 months. I did the Galapagos many years ago (AWESOME!), and have done the Caribbean a few times. My personal favourite was a 12 day Baltic - really interesting ports, with 2 nights in each of Stockholm and St. Petersburg. One my personal bucket list would be New Zealand, and also Japan.

Lots of options, which is why we love cruising. We love transatlantic and Mediterranean cruising! Azores✅ Canary Islands✅ Malta✅ Kotor✅ Mallorca✅ Kusadasi✅ Santorini✅ Mykonos✅ plus all the usual Mediterranean ports (Barcelona, Rome, Venice, etc…) We were fortunate enough to sail in and out of Venice several times before their port was shut down for cruise ships. Absolutely the most scenic sail away on the planet! If you love history, the Panama Canal is a must see. Make sure that you read about the history before you go through it. You’ll appreciate the experience more. We recommend a full sail through for the best experience. We still have Alaska on our To Do list…

I just returned from a Panama Canal/ABC Islands cruise on the Norwegian Jewel. It was fantastic! All the areas talked about in this video I have done already except the Galapagos, and the French Polynesia and Hawaii cruise. I have an Arctic Ocean cruise booked, Africa cruise, Southern Caribbean cruise and the French Polynesia/Hawaii cruise in the next year and 3 months from now. So many places to go and so little time to do them. My favorite cruises have been to Alaska, New Zealand, Australia, Seychelles/Madagascar/Mauritius, Antarctica, Maldives/India/Sri Lanka, Baltic, and the Mediterranean cruises. Thanks Alisa and Jason, for posting this video. It gives so many people good information of bucket list destinations. Love watching your videos and seeing how you and Jason are traveling the world.

Just completed an Azamara cruise from Singapore to Perth (21 Dec 2022) via Bali. My first cruise was Pride of America, as a Hawaiian resident it was more cost effective to take a cruise to the other islands than to fly to them. I have done Greece, Baltic, Southern Australia, New Zealand, and Asia (Hong Kong to Singapore). I have 2 booked cruises for Asia (Tokyo to Taipei) and South Africa. My bucket list includes Antarctica, Spice Route, Alaska, and Iceland/Norway.

Every cruise is a bucket list cruise if you think about it. We've loved them all. It started with 3 in the Western Caribbean because they were group cruises, cheap and provided transport to Galveston. Then we took a big break to do life. HA! Covid cancelled our return so this year we are making up for lost time. We did the Mexican Riviera. Loved it. Then we did Alaska. Loved it more. Then we did a 10 day Easter Caribbean. Oh my! The Virgin Islands do not disappoint.
Next up is a full Panama Canal in Feb. R/T from Panama. Full transit south to north, Costa Rica/ABC/Columbia/back to Panama. To top off next year will be Canada/New England for fall foliage.
Still on the list...Hawaii, Australia/New Zealand, Norwegian Fjords, Mediterranian, Bermuda, etc. Whew! There is always something to look forward to.

Elissa, your bucket list is very similar to mine! Your explanations were top notch. What happens is, as you experience more new destinations, you keep growing your list. Like you stated, adding side trips (Disney Asia), and doing B2B cruises are great ways to expand your experiences! Another idea is to do theme cruises such as one that visits UNESCO sites or a group of cruisers with common interests (Comic Con) travel together. I'm sure you know about the Christmas Market cruises in Europe. I say if I'm flying to Europe, it would be great to create a trip that includes a few cruises with some land travel thrown in. I learned about the one Australian port where you can see the blue penguins! It's on my list! Keep doing what you are doing so well!

I've heard that the best line to do an Alaskan Cruise is on Princess, at least if you want to do a land/sea package, since they are the only line that owns the land portion of the package. The other lines contract with various operators for the land portion. Don't know how true that is, but based on our experience on the Enchanted Princess last January, I'm certainly willing to give Princess a shot at my Alaskan cruise!

We have had the pleasure of doing a partial Panama Canal earlier this year on the Pride and we get to do Alaska in June on the Spirit. And we get to go to A & B of the ABC islands in 2024. Hawaii is on my list as well 😄.

    AUSTRALIA??? South Pacific ???
We live here - Mount Tamborine near GoldCoast, near Brisbane.
The Snorkelling at Vanuatu and Fiji is much better and more colourful than Caribbean.
    Come on down SOON.
    And we have theme parks.
    I've been to 5 of 6 Disney.
    Haven't done LA!
Shanghai was so different, especially Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

I want to do all of these cruises, especially Antarctic. I’m supposed to do a Mediterranean cruise this summer, but my travel companion is not sure. Maybe I’ll do it solo, even though I loathe flying solo.
