Electrical alternating current is generated from rotary motion of a conductive element. In an alternator there is no mechanical equivalent resembling the Scotch yoke. Does this then mean that A.C. Is not a pure sine waveform??? If not……why not???? Stavros
The objective of drawing lines is to study the behavior of the mechanism. This knowledge can be applied in the design of machines that require the movement represented by the lines to perform a specific task.
All of physics and engineering greatly benefits from this. You can construct mechanical integrators; Fourier transforms can be mechanically done by changing amplitude and frequency and stacking a bunch of these ‘squiggly lines.’ You can literally draw any image with such a device I love when ignoramuses are utterly confused over such simple mechanisms and are utterly baffled at how they can be useful, going so far as to be incredulous against the ‘obvious pointlessness’ of such mechanisms. Such a level of ignorance is a sight to see
Como haces las animaciones?
You could never build something like this in real life because it would explode.
Wow cool
осталось с другой стороны маховика поставить еще два штока в противофазе, тогда баланс будет идеальный
Sine and cosine

Why would anyone want to make a machine that just draws squiggly lines?
