Spectacular Dune 3.4 serie of new presets! you can get it and edit, modify, morph and recreate your own sounds within minutes. The new sample WAV files load feature open an near to infinite field to exploration. Definitely, Dune is one of the most distinctive synths in today scene.
That sounds great and all but there are other wave table synths out there. This program is really light on the cpu, notice how almost if not all wave tables eat CPU’s for breakfast. Some things are perfect the way they are. Now if they managed to make this happen and keep the cpu the same or still very low that would be great. I’m not knocking your suggestion, I’m just happy with what we do have.
@@hOttOddYfAiLz I didn't mean any new features necessarily, just have it open up a browser instead of an endless scrolling menu that takes forever to scroll through and can be accidentally closed.
Hey Kevin, how did you manage to control expression and breath via the Akai midi controller? I manage to control the modwheel but cannot find how to do this on expression and breath. Thanks!
Simply configure the Akai faders to control breath and expression- the MIDI CCs for this are 2 for breath and 11 for expression. If your question is how to configure the Akai controller, please refer to its user manual. There is a couple Akai controllers around and some may operate differently from the one Kevin uses. If you are sure you have the exact same controller, then pressing EDIT, moving a fader then adjusting the CC parameter should do the trick 😀
@@candoraudio3159 it's ok mate I checked through the presets and they are there:). I also just purchased 'Hypnotic' from Bellatrix audio.. beautiful sounds...can't believe how cheap they where.
The Legend and Obsession support MPE, so that is a way to get "polyphonic anything", basically. But Dune 3 does not, at least not yet, so yes it could be added. Good suggestion!
@@synapseaudio2488 Not to be jerky, but it’s not really the same. Now that the Hydrasynth is popular, you have a lot of polyphonic aftertouch capable keyboards out there. Behringer has also made noises about releasing one. Please don’t make me use Pigments instead of my beloved Dune 3. Please! 😂
@@zerocrossing You're right of course, it depends on the controller. The idea is very similar though. Didn't know about the Hydrasynth, will check that out! Anyway we'll add Poly AT to D3 in an update.
@@synapseaudio2488 That would be awesome. The Hydrasynth is a pretty cool wave morphing hardware synth with polyphonic aftertouch and a ribbon controller. Not as cool as Dune 3, of course, but it’s an inexpensive and great controller.
You cant do anything with this pesets. They souds all non harmonic if you want to change a key exspecialy if you play arp presets. You just can press one key.
Love Dune by far my most used synth
I'll second that. My most synth by a WIDE margin!

VST3, Yes!!! 👍👍👍👍. Now add a resonable preset browser and DUNE is perfect.
Browser was added in v3.5! 😊
Even one new preset would be enough to get me excited. Keep it up!
Magnificent. 👍
Gorgeous sound! But I really cannot recommend enough that part of 3.5 be a new wavetable browser.

@@synapseaudio2488 a sounds great. Did not know you could do that in the Akai unit instead of in the DAW.
Watching/Listening is like relaxing
Wating for a Single je package deal
Dune es muy limpio y profundo.
Felicidades.
Muy muy interesante.
Preset manager and osc - filter routing would be perfect
Great 👍
Could you PLEASE program a drag and drop modulation work flow into Dune??
We did in DUNE 3.5 😊
Everybody gangsta until Kevin starts flexing his supa-dupa-ultra-wide monitor... 😁🎹🏆
Other Synth VSTs sound so thin in comparison. Love Dune 3. Does it not have a patch browser ?
Nothing sounds quite like the Uranus Choir.
A whole choir? Uranus is larger than I thought.
can you synchronize the dune 3 with your daw's tempo??if yes how..where I could see the way?very interesting synth
Yes. LFOs and MSEGs have a SYNC switch which does the trick. The arpeggiator and all delay units are by default synced to the DAW.
@@synapseaudio2488 have you got any video that shows how you can synch it? I am looking wich plugin would work for me, so I don't have it yet!!!!
@@georgezorbas6422 Check this one, it covers the LFOs and MSEGs: ruclips.net/video/cImotxobYMk/видео.html

If not how do I get them??

Sehr CPU schonen und Klanglich für mich der beste Software Synth im Moment!!Kommt Dune 4 bald ? ;-)
Without drag n drop modulation and visualization yet?
It got added in v3.5 😊
What gear/hardware is he using?
Sound interface is by Universal Audio. The MIDI controller is an Akai MPD.

@@synapseaudio2488 Hey super, vielen Dank !!!
Excelentes nuevos sonidos del Dune, solo resta alguna buena oferta del 40/50% off, pues por desgracia nunca se ven.... :(
How is it on cpu? I’m using an i5 dual core 1.8 ghz 12 gb ram
It'll work fine for you then.
