I would add in the interior scenes fell apart pretty bad with it looking amateur with the lighting and some framing. The start of the movie outside was good though. Anyway this is a good lesson that the quality of your camera is far down the list when it comes to movies. You need you movie spent on sound, lighting...etc.
What filters did you use? I see a couple shots with streak filters. Did you also add filters for some of the halation or was that all inherent in the Vista Ones?
@@phfx Thank you so much for the reply. That is very interesting. Especially the streaking. You can spend a lot of money and time trying to get that type of response to lighting.
The quality was there, but something that I've noticed is on those scenes there are both set down on the table, when the bold guy is on focus, if you look to the no focused guy on his side, the images is so choppy, laggy, who can also see the framing of the image, and my laptop can handle 8k in 60fps, obviously this was shot with 24fps, I think 8k needs to be shot in a high frame rate, because is to much resolution on such small frame rate, the frames look interpolated, choopy, the image is not fluid at all when you have those scenes where you have a more panoramic view of the 2 subjects, and two things happening at the same time. Where you can only see a little bit of fluid motion on the face of the person who is in shot.
Can someone explain what happened? I don't get it.
Insane dynamic range.
need better sound design . overall pretty good . now drop a grading tutorial

These guys are quit good, would like to see more
Well done.
I liked all of it.

No filters. This is what the lenses do.

@@phfx Does the lack of multicoating cause increased visible reflections and ghosting if you do use a filter as compared to the standard Vistas?
@@CaseyPreston I'd say in this case it's the subtle interaction of the iris blades with a focused light source.
WOW Its be great scenne !!! need more effects like ufo or something. but the conversation its very good :)
Patiently waiting for 8:00AM. :)
Mostly watched at first bc I like your other content but I enjoyed the film a lot. Good sense of mood/color.
Impressive..! I really like it.
What happened in the end? Please explain?
Now are in 8k
Cinematography is great. Storyline😬😬😬 hardly a "horror"?
What do you call this ambient style of filming? So far I can see it's "Show don't. Tell," reminds me of Black Mirror a bit.
RUclips compression in the shadows is horrible. Can I watch elsewhere at a better bitrate?
probably no. and bitrate would have to be huge to overcome that banding problem in the shadows, or other gradients.
Yep, the recompression kills it a bunch. They'll be a screening in LA shortly.
I take it you didn't watch it in 8K? No banding or general compression problems in that resolution... Image was solid.

banding is more about bitrate and color depth, less about resolution

my computer is now a heater!
Hats off
There is no any sense for me, I need subtitles to correctly translate it all. Make it, please :)
I don't get it

The movie was decent, but it would be nice to figure out what was supposed to have happened.
