I was thinking that the rear speakers would be easy. 😂 I have the speakers, but haven't fitted yet. I honestly thought I'd be able to pop that wire mesh off in front of them. 😮 So that job just got twice as long. Glad I watched this first now.
nah, you dont need to take all of that stuff off, I managed to just take the door seal off for the front doors and then just pry the panels open enough to access them
I fitted my rear speakers in 10 mins, ... Just popped the clips, bent it back so it gave me enough room to replace speakers, only thing I removed was the bottom seat,
Very good video sir, i've just put some Alpine's in the door's (this morning) but i'll wait for better weather to do the back one's. Still watching this vid and storing it for a ref will make it a bloody lot quicker. Thank you very much..ps i've only just found your channel so i'll look up all your other video's. CHEER'S keep up the good work..
@@Noname5618-k6m the pre 2004 July ones come with the speakers I’m pretty sure but if your model is after July 2004 you need to buy the white wiring adapters
Decent video 👌🏻Just what I’ve been looking for. Was there any extra room to accommodate slightly deeper 6x9’s? I’ve got some older ones from a previous car. Just wondering if they’re likely to fit the depth. Cheers.
I ain't even know my mini cooper backseats can go down like that😂😂😂i got a pos mini cooper buh its still my lil babii until i can get another mustang..and ima mod both of them..
Fantastic Video to show others how to do the work. Clear editing, great camera work, and you don't cut out any of the steps. Well done!
True Tradition Of Men In Sheds Is Still Alive. Great Video. Ordered The Speaker Kit. Gonna Have Fun Tis Weekend.

Absolutely brilliant video - exactly what was needed and the speakers/adapters fitted perfectly. Thanks very much.
Awesome video man 👍🏻
Great video! Do you think replacing the front speakers are enough to get great sound?
What size are the door speakers
Could you please provide a link to seller that ships to the Netherlands? Thank you so much for your video's!
On my 02(I’m in the states) I used the same speaker adapter’s that you used, maybe the black one is if you have the harmon kardon system?
Great video! Where did you get the black wire adapter? You said "anything prior to july 2004 ...
Links in the description mate 👌🏻
@@KevsShed the link only for the white ones.

Hi mate I’m struggling to fit the rear side speakers into there hole, any advice ?
On a R52 convertible
What size ar thay if not 6x9

How much depth do you have in the back? Could you mount a 6x9 that was 99mm deep like a cerwin Vega?
Nice work sir...those back ones made you work for it .
Yeah, what a pain! Worth it though for the sound improvement! 👌🏻😎
Great video! I have one question. Do you have to swap out the head unit (like you've done) in order for these new speakers to work?
No, not at all 👍🏻
Nice video! Does your car still use a Amp, because mine is broken and this looks like a better solution in that case.
No amp in my car, so this is a great solution 👍🏻
Thanks
