star wars knights of the old republic 2: the sith lords
"Observation: I thought he would never die." Yet another reason why HK-47 is awesome.
Who would die? Fat one?
That makes two of us HK.
Pained statement: I thought I was already the best
I didn't get this scene.
I just love how out of all his targets, G0-T0 annoys him the most
G0-T0: _If there's anything I can't stand, it's_ [thunder]
Bao-Dur's remote: _What?_
G0-T0: _I said, if there's anything I can't stand, it's_ [thunder]
Bao-Dur's remote: *_What?!_*
G0-T0: [breathes heavily] _I said... if there's anything I can't stand, it's_ [thunder] _Seriously, this planet can go_ [thunder] _itself!_
Radar ha picked up helicopter going soi soi soi.
Bao-Dur's remote: Can do (activates mass shadow generator).
@@Battleship009 is that the Master Chief!?
@@viktoriyaforrest8265*pushes button to destroy an entire planet*
Too much thunder.
"And while I find this small droid annoying in the extreme, I find my urge to shoot you takes a higher priority."
😂😂 love HK-47
He speaks for the audience. We all would want to shut up G0-T0 because he talks too much.
He can Go-TO Robot hell.
Love u Hk-47
Goto: aw crap singing. Mind if I smoke?
Observation: That ending was fucking hilarious.
Unnecessary statement: Agreed.
Irrelevant remark: That was extremely boring. I think it's a good time to terminate some more challenging foes, like a jedi master or two.
Secondary observation: the annoying bulbous droid has finally bitten the proverbial dust.
KOTOR 2's restored content makes the storyline a lot more awesome. HK-47 to the rescue. :D
A droid is never late. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.
If there is any droid that I'd ever want, it's HK-47, hands down.
Hk 47 is kick a$$
I would like Bender from futurama
You know he's directly responsible for the death of almost every master hes had baring Revan and the Exile
Same.
I found out HK-47 existed 5 hours ago and he's already my favorite droid in all of Star Wars.
Evolved Turtle Productions Oh man, you are in for a treat. Go play Knights of the Old Republic, or heck just read his Wookieepedia article.
@@ed4416 totally, man. He makes killing as comical as a Tarintino film!
If you have an iPhone and 10$ you can buy the first KOTOR that has HK47 in it
Why did they cut this out? It actually makes the story line make more sense. If GOTO was supposed to have not allowed the Mass Shadow Generator to go off then why do you get the option to use it? Unless of corse the remote managed to defeat him which is unlikely.
LucasArts for some not ****ing explained reason pushed obsidian to release the game at holiday. That forced Them to cut a lot of content. Obsidian even made a proposal to LucasArts for them to add that content in the patch or something. But because LA is even more butthurt they dissagread...
+Helios So glad they've been disbanded. Ever since KOTOR 2 they've been making slip ups left and right. Star Wars Kinect was the last straw...
+Yusuf B You've got to admit there was something ridiculously funny about the dancing segment. I know lots of people hate it, but I just found it priceless.
Personally I think LA was on the verge of reaching a come-up point. Boba Fett had his own game on the horizon, as did Darth Maul, and both showed promise to be good titles.
It's a shame Disney didn't even try to salvage them. I hope the genuinely hardworking and creative of LA game development were transferred.
Not entirely true.
Lucasarts still held a development arm and was actively using it to develop 1313 and an unnamed Darth Maul-focused title.
They might've outsourced their development towards the most recently released titles, but they still had a functioning development under wraps and they most definitely developed several titles with that development arm, including Starfighter/Jedi-Starfighter, Bounty Hunter, and the first two Dark Forces games.
To say LA didn't develop games is just outright wrong.
HK-47 was awesome
fucking love hk-47 best droid in exsistance
Did anyone know G0-T0 was voiced by the same dude who voiced Cosmo and Mr. Turner in the Fairly Oddparents? His name is Daran Norris.
Yes
@@PhantomRedKnight He even voiced Rei in Fist of the North Star, Admiral Yuri Kellerne in Gundam 8th MS Team and Nanao Ei in Ghost in the Shell SAC.
“Call a ambulance…but NOT for me!” has never been more present than in this scene lmao
Perfect analogy.
This would've been so much better in the scene if they kept this! Why did they take it out?
No one really understood GO-TO I feel bad for him, but he was a droid.
When it comes to HK-47, his time with Revan was probably unparalleled. That is, until in KOTOR II, during the HK-47 Droid Factory and especially at 2:07 when he gets some much deserved payback against GO-TO. I LOOOOOVE that. Those have to be his defining moments.
The best one of these is when the HK-50's arrive and say:
"Unexpected correction: We cannot harm this unit... and such"
In my opinion, this is one of the greatest cutscenes in video game history.
+jacksonmunday62 Then you did not play many good games.
And your idea of a good game is...?
+jacksonmunday62 Well my point is that there are a lot of games that have very good cutscenes.
+
lol its barely top 20 in this game alone
@ANONYMOUS It's about if this is among the best and i say it's good but not among the best.
Conclusion: Floating scrap metal is a waste of energy. Squishy, bleeding meatbags provide more of a fight.
I always hated G0-T0
He is useless but I kinda like his voice.
He was more of a story character. Like with the bounty and his secret. Without him being killed by hk-47. He fails at being a story character cause his story sucks without it.
+HarbingerOfBattle DID YOU KNOW GO-TO WAS ACTUALLY A DROID??
As did I. I was never certain if he was a organic individual or simply a droid projecting a man.
JRLM I thought G0-T0 was a human acting through a droid.
HK is starting an anti-meatbags club...no fatties 😂
"moon sized frame" LMAO gotta love hk-47
HK-47 kicked GO-TO's roundy bally ass so bad, it's funny. When I played this game I flat-out hated GO-TO. I felt like it was unnecessary to have him aboard the Ebon Hawk, even though he kept up with all his analytic and calculatuions about this and that. Anyways, I'm especially glad HK did him in even though this wasn't in the game originally.
HK 47 literally saved the day.
And this scene shows why HK is the best droid in the star wars universe.
G0-T0: the annoying mini floating Deathstar we all wanted to shoot down.
You've done your master proud my HK droid.
SO THAT'S what happened! Goddamn now I wish even more I could have gotten the HK factory!
Too bad I'll never get this as I have the game for the Xbox instead of PC and I have no idea how this mod stuff works;.
If u have it on Mac there's a simple tab on the launch screen that lets you restore that content..
I have a labtop.
Buy the game on Steam. You can get the Restored Content mod on there as well. I'm not sure how to get this version of this scene, but the mod gives you most of the restored content for KOTOR II.
G0-T0 gets fat shamed to death by HK-47 and his boys. And it is amazing.
There might be some cut content where he did, but like basically everyone else in The Exile's entourage, Bao-Dur's ultimate fate was left pretty vague; the only allies you use in the end were Mandalor and Visas against Darth Nihilus, and after that, basically everyone is just kinda left behind, making you have to go Malachor alone.
Always count on HK-47 to "even the odds". Now he has control over the HK-50s (insert evil laugh here). MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Correction: HK-51s. An improvement in every way over the previous model, not the least of which is the renewed respect for proper Assassination Protocols.
Gotta love HK-47 coming up with such a fancy way of saying G0-T0 talks too much.
They should of gave us the handmaiden and the discipline instead of goto. Goto could of just stayed on the ship.
I hated GOTO always. Finally, I've seen this and I love HK-47 even more.
HK-47 at his finest here.
when i was wondering why they cut this and the droid factory out, i noticed a big flaw. Wat if you never rebuild hk. either you didnt on purpose or you forgot to pick up the chassis in the docks. that would make some interesting problems in the gameplay.
Whoa...this is really cool, because GOTO's dialogue really hints at the plot of The Old Republic, just like when Kreia talks about the triumvirate not really being the "True" Sith. Interesting...
-To KaSperm I have the TSLRCM but I cant figure out how to reprogram the HK-51 droids in the factory to assist me. I go to the terminal and all it will let me do pretty much is blow it up. I would appreciate assistance. Thanks.
Just discovered G0T0 to be voiced by Darran Noris, aka Knockout from TfP; like if your mind is as blown as mine.
I literally just played the final battle of KOTOR 2, I didn’t experience this cutscene at all, leading me to wonder what happened to GOTO, was this scene cut from the game explaining why that is ?
Also did KOTOR 2 have lots of scenes that were cut ?
That's the Restored Content Mod, which restores everything which Obsidian had to cut in order for LucasArts to release KotOR II during holidays.
Good riddance to bad droids
Statement: I find this cut scene to be quite badass.
Statement: HK-47 is more badass with every moment you listen to him.
i don't understand why G0-T0 didn't just actually make a copy of himself to assume the risk of field work. like I get that its a cool reveal to be like "OMG Goto isn't controlling the robot...Goto IS THE ROBOT!" but like other than making an opportunity for that reveal, whats the actual functional point of exposing his real self to danger? one miscalculation and his ability to influence the galaxy disappears, it seems ridiculous.
he possibly did. not that we will ever no.
Dr.Fail if he did then it woulda somehow been a tor quest lol.
Perhaps he calculated that exile is the best one to keep Republic intact, and in order to keep exile alive, goto needs to be personally monitoring him.
Besides, he lost his base of operations. Ebon Hawk was the only safe place when his ship blew up. And it would have been too suspicious to say exile & co "leave this droid on your next stop. wait a moment and I give you another one. Because..."
come on man, you really think goto didn't have another way off of that ship? that is was "oh shit i woulda been done for, but lucky for me they left the door to the ebon hawk open so i guess i'll stowaway and act like it was all part of my master plan". i mean there's no way to know for certain, but that sorta really brings super evil genius mastermind robot down to earth you know? I'm not saying it couldn't happen, im just saying its kinda out of character for how he is portrayed throughout the game, and if they wanted his reveal to be a an opportunity to show that he isn't always in full control, then i honestly think they flubbed the execution, because it really was portrayed in a way where him being on the ebon hawk was part of his master plan all along.
As I said, Exile was gotos best asset to keep Republic alive and end this jedi/sith war. Had he used escape pot, Exile would have been out of his reach.
Besides, as a machine he miscalculated a bunch of things. Exiles companions invaded his ship, destroyed his security and disabled stealth generator, which allowed rest of the bounty hunters to attack that place. And from gameplay perspective, that map had like two hangar doors, so it was maybe that other hangar was full of hostile bounty hunters, while a way to Ebon Hawk was open and only escape route.
And all of them believed it was just a droid which goto gave them. That act was just so clever and safe to use. It worked before and worked now.
Besides, it all seemed to pay off since they got to Malachor which had even greater treasury for the republic to use.
I love the dialogue here and in this game in general.
How did I never notice that Daran Norris voiced G0-T0. Freaking Stan Smith's father, fairly odd parents and many more
How did Hk-47 get here from the hk-factory? Damn I wish they could finish the game how it was supposed to be. TSLRCM is great but there are still lots of questions like what happened to bao-dur
HK47: “Bitch you what?”
HK-47 has one of the funniest fat jokes ever.
Ah! Thank you, that's explains much. Too bad on the rush job. Wish they'd waited.
Ah! It was so satisfying to see HK finally shut that flying testicle up.
HK-47 "STATEMENT: You underestimated me for the last time, fat one..."
G0-T0 "...Fuck."
Oh HK. how i love you so. my most faithful companion.
The Restored Content version of KOTOR 2 is so incredibly good it’s not even funny.
That was an awesome interruption by HK-47
I took a whole day one time to talk like HK-47. Even in stores and businesses.
@KyleMcCloudSr so does the dialogue with Kreia in the end to. She explained that Revan and his followers was not true sith, and that the true sith still awaits beyond the outer rim....or something :P
@darthbdaman yes you are indeed correct, taken from wookieepedia: Chris Avellone stated that Bao-Dur was intended to die during the Battle of Telos IV, while helping HK-47 reach and shut down the HK Manufacturing Plant.
HK-47 is my favorite droid in star wars!
So what happened to Bao Dur's remote? Did HK kill it also?
"And of course, they refer to meatbags as.. OR-GA-NICS. Unaceptable."
Does this happen automatically? In other words, you cannot miss it?
If you have the restored content mod, and at the hk factory you chose to control the droids then this should happen I think.
WHAT???? Why aren't these scenes on the 360 updates!!?? Mandalores Helmet, HK killing Go-To, Visas and Canderious, Zion and Nihilus. The HK factory???
I'm so confused? :(
funny thing you said that, they were in the process of making KOTOR III but then Lucas arts lost money and it was either The Force Unleashed or KOTOR III and they promoted TFU more so they canceled KOTOR III and what i remember is they were going to making similar to how SWTOR turned out
Why was this cut? I wondered for years whatever happened in this scenario!
I think because the HK factory was cut as well - this meant that there's no explanation for how/why those HK-50 units accompanied HK-47 and sided with him.
sounds about right
Hk 47 sidekick of the decade!
"no bearing to the plot?"
What about the stuff he tells you about the droid activity on Nar Shadaar? And the stuff he tells you about Revan and Malak and the Republic, and eventually you find out that the was the missing droid from Telos. All that stuff is related to the plot of the game, how is it not?
If you didn't talk to him you wouldn't have found out about any of that stuff.
I thought he was gonna say
"Observation: I thought he would never shut up"
@MrJollok you need the mod in the description...but the mod only uses hidden ingame files...if you know what im sayin'
@Shadow7RSW i did not make this mod, all credit goes to DarthStoney and his team
I don't get it, how was HK-47 able to have the HK-51s follow him instead of G0-T0, aside from getting them from the droid factory on Telos (though it is optional to select either the HK-50s or the newer HK-51s)?
were all of these audio files in the game already?
Oh, he is ^-^ He's one of the earlier bosses, so I understand. In fact, he even built a droid army of HK-77's in the 300 years between this and TOR for the soul purpose of destroying all meatbags XD
They should have kept this in because everyone hated G0-T0. He was so annoying either playing good or evil, I never chose him as a companion.
Why when I've played go-to didn't come in this moment?
@superlinkarts yeah you are correct, the Hk51's have blue eyes while Hk50's have yellow right?
Bah. Why was this never included?
they rushed
Okay forget that last comment. The only problem I'm having is with loading. The game just freezes when I try to load the game. Saving works, but it stops halfway through loading? Any suggestions? This is because of the mod mind you.
How can you tell if the mod works or not when you apply it to your game? I don't think it was working for me. I tried playing the game and nothing was different.
like i said, with sufficient resources (time & money), fallout 2 and kotor 2 truly would have been the best rpgs ever.
Pretty sure this is cut content. Something dragged up by the kotor restoration project.
You gotta love hk-47 and him calling everyone meatbags XD
Why does Goto sound like Knockout?
Actually, correction to my own post, it wasn't this *exact* scene, but the bit with the remote and Goto I did see.
My Sith Lord named Darth Cade killed every single remaining Jedi Master with his best friend Hk-47. Good times, Good times.
Remind me, this happens if HK-47 KEPT his behavior core instead of using the HK50's, right?
The funny thing is, even if those WERE HK-50s, they wouldn't have been able to do jack shit to protact G0-T0
@Anastasia911 are you sure it wasnt HK-47 that didn't come? you need to destroy the hk factory for him to appear. You can find a tutorial on how to get there in one of my older videos ;-)
This restored content can it be use on the stream verison of this game?
What ever happened to HK-47? I forget did he escape malicore with the exile?
Well he survived and such but he kept his focus on finding his old master AKA Darth Revan.
A lot. It's in SWTOR, pretty awesome game
Not really since it butchers and cuts up everything from the first two games.
GOTO is the death star and HK-47 and two HK-51 blasted him into pieces.
Not to cast a shadow in this AWESOME cinematic but y didn't Goto's droid just use the scrambler it was equipped with lol?
@KaSperminator I thought that was only on the Dark Side ending. Kreia couldn't predict his future because she couldn't hear his thoughts. Did you do the thing where you read peoples' minds with Kreia? She can't hear Bao-Durs, so it could just be that.
So how much more room does the restoration mod take up? I'm thinking of downloading it
@KaSperminator actually where or if he dies is never stated, however Atton make a comment when you go to the HK factory about Bao-Dur going with HK-47. He never shows up again so it is generally assumed that his death would have had something to do with the Hk factory if it hadn't been cut
@darthbandon10 there weren't very many bugs in those games after a few patches, but upon first release there were some glitches. but then again, complex games often have some glitches and bugs upon first release.
What should I do in HK-FACTORY? I have always the scene where hk-47 kills the remote.... any can help me?
I think it's because this is the pc version+TSL restored content mod.
Somebody else have already told me that you need to leave the HK-51 units in production.
@Anastasia911 did you install the mod?
