Toby always said "Never apologize for being Patriotic!". He was a huge supporter of our troops, performing hundreds of shows, even in active war zones for them!
@@davidwolf4677 Over 70 million Americans don't agree with you. That's ok, as Americans we have the liberty to disagree. But an apology for who we vote for, based on what we believe is needed in this country at this time in history, a big NO!
My 5'2" little badass daughter is my favorite veteran! I was terrified when she was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. She had the pleasure of attending one of Mr. Keith's shows. We lost a true patriot! Thank you for your service, Mr. Keith!
This song is exactly about 9/11. He and his best friend, wrote this shortly after that day. Then it got recorded and released before our troops went into Afghanistan.
He wasn't going to record tis but, after a USO show a Marine officer told him that he needed to -- what do you do when a U.S. Marine officer tells you to do something? You do it.
It's a testament to how good this song is that even though I've watched the original video countless times, I still watched it more than I watched your reaction! 😂 It has always made me cry, but now I cry for the loss of Toby. A true patriot that really cared about the military.
It’s basically our second National Anthem. I know exactly where I was on 9/11, and know where I was when I first heard this song. It’s one of my favorites.
Thank you so much. This song is incredible. Toby made 11 USO tours playing over 240 shows for our deployed soldiers. Toby was such a great American Patriot, a great man and I'm sure he was an incredible friend. He signed Taylor Swift to her record deal. He wrote so many incredible songs. Happy, sad, fun, hilarious, Patriotic, love ballads, serious, heartbreaking songs. Such an incredible talent. RIP Toby Keith. I bet you and your heavenly friends are jammin' everyday. Please react to, American Soldier. Me Too. Red Solo Cup. How Do You Like Me Now. Who's That Man. Trailerhood. I'm Cryin For Me. He Ain't Worth Missin'. We Were In Love. I Should Have Been A Cowboy. I Wanna Talk About Me. I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again. Beer For My Horses. Who's Your Daddy. I Love This Bar. Don't Let The Old Man In. You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This. There are so many more great ones.
The act of Patriotism hasn't changed, in our country. It's the word "patriot" that has taken a beating. Those that believe in breaking our laws, or cheering on others that do, have ruined the word patriot. Because they believe breaking those laws, make them a patriot.
Always been in my top country bangers list. RIP Toby and ty for putting boots in the asses of those who needed it. THANK YOU to our Veterans. Our first responders and all who have fallen for the land of the FREE! Never....ever....FORGOTTEN. Nice video man. Loved it. ☘️🇺🇲
You can tell these are real pictures of his Daddy.. they looked just alike.. Thank you to all our services men and women and Thank you Toby Keith for this anthem for our troops.. Lost a Legend of Country Music from my generation.. RIP Big Dog Daddy.
Rest in Paradise Toby! We lost a great patriot, family man and a man of faith!!! He passed from stomach cancer! Every Toby song is a banger! He has so many funny and goofy songs! His last performance was him singing "Don't Let the Old Man In" which he wrote after a conversation with Clint Eastwood!
I have great respect for our veterans! I did a Karaoke cover of One by Metallica for Veteran's Day, and it has been one of my most popular videos. I'm so thankful to be able to live in a country where I can express my own opinion and worship the Lord without persecution, and I will always be grateful for those who died for those freedoms!
US Marine here, serving from 1977-1983. All of 5ft 1in and 117lbs. It was my honor to serve. I recently had a trip with Honor Flight, Columbus to D.C. and it was a very humbling experience.
I think that’s the wonderful thing about our republic! Every four years the people have a chance to make their voices heard and vote in who they feel is the best choice! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day! ❤️
Seen Toby at least 10 times. Aside from all of his USO shows he always had service members on stage for this song at every performance that i attended.
Know every word to this song. It was right after the 9/11 attacks. I grew up in a very patriotic family & will never be anything but PROUD to be an AMERICAN 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This was about 911. My daughter, who you know (Janet S.) Remember where we were the 1st time that was played on the radio. We were outside a little store in Pekin. We were crying, clapping, and yelling!!!
What a Patriot, RIP Toby. Some of my favorite songs. Toby and Willie " Beer for my Horses " watch the official video . Others "I Love this Bar ", Red Solo Cup" and Traitorhood".
"I Wanna Talk About Me" is another really great video/song. My other favorite is 'Should've Been A Cowboy". These are songs (including the one in this video) that you can listen to over and over! Great melodies too!
My dad was USAF, both grandfathers were USArmy. I have an uncle and 2 cousins that were Army, another uncle and 2 cousins that were US Marine's, another uncle and cousin that were USAF. I am proud of every single one of them.
Nicely played Brother 👍 I'm a Veteran and was blessed to spend my time in Arlington Cemetery with The Old Guard 🙏 I couldn't tell you how many times I stood in front of the Chapel and watched a flag draped Casket come out the front doors. It took everything I had to not cry like a baby every single time. That my friend is why I wouldn't wipe your a** with an NFL jersey 🤬 God rest the soul of every Patriot I help to lay to rest 🙏 Spread the love Brother 🐶😎🇺🇸47 P.S. the tears flowed from the first note 🎶
I get chills every time I hear this song. The USA was truly united after 9/11. We may have been fighting amongst ourselves, but we became united when someone started attacking ALL of us

Oh my goodness.. No one will ever tell me not to be patriotic.. I love my country.. as messed as we are at times.. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.. We are blessed to live here. And anyone saying right now they want to leave because Trump was elected... you don't believe in Democracy... so leave.
Many people say they are going to leave when they don’t like the incoming president and never do. America voted and it’s a done deal! That’s the beauty of a democracy! 🇺🇸
I served in the Navy, as did my father (Korea) and my grandfather WWII and my great-grandfather who served in the Scottish Piper Regiment (WWI), An uncle in Army (Vietnam) and two granduncles in Army (WWII), several cousins who served and in WWII my Grandmother worked at the Goodyear/ Navy blimp plant in Akron,OH as a welder.
Toby Keith wrote this and was only going to perform it for the troops. I believe it was a General that said the biggest honor Toby could give to the military is to release this song to the public. Toby immediately recorded it. RIP Toby ❤❤❤
A really fun song by Toby is "Red Solo Cup". Just a warning though; it will come back and get stuck in your head at random times when your brain has nothing better to do. ruclips.net/video/BKZqGJONH68/видео.html

Maybe an apology is needed for a mindset such as this which gave us a rapist, convicted felon as “President”. Yay America… 🙄
