Our county road dept had two Oshkosh snowplows ('60 something's). For deep snow they would hook them together - one behind the other - and could plow through 15 foot snowdrifts.
I drove a 1985 at the Jackson Hole airport for 7 winters.....sometimes for 12 hours a day when the snow was heavy.....just loved these trucks....indescribable
The first one had a rollover plow. That means it a throw snow to the left of right, by flipping the plow over. Grissom Afb used seven of them to clear the flightline.
