Deric, let me just start by saying I’ve watched all your videos and a subscriber of your channel, I look forward so much to your new videos I’ve learned a lot from them you’re such an inspiration to me because my wife and I also have two boys one 2.5 and one 15 days old. I’ve also been renovating our house room by room as I’m able to with work, life and of course financially able to, just renovating our master bedroom while trying to live in it was such a chore along with one boy at the time let alone two that you have makes me realize if you set out to do something you wanna do nothing is impossible with determination and a little sweat equity. I can’t wait to see your guys final results. You have a great looking house and family you will have so much equity built with all you’ve done, also I can tell what a great Dad and mom you guys are raising your boys right having the right mentality on life. So keep the videos coming and I wish you, your channel and family all the best!!
Wow. You made my day. So glad to have you out there watching. Thanks for the warm wishes and encouragement. Best of luck with your home. God bless you and your family and thanks for watching!
Great video, but I already know how to hang the cabinet, what I need is an idea how to get the dang thing up on the wall by myself. It’s 55in long, 30in high, and 15in deep. 3/4in particle board, Formica covered, Masonite backing. Heavier than the proverbial dead priest. I took the doors off, of course, but quite a conundrum. I am 5’4”. And the blasted studs are steel, had to go through a complicated process of measuring to set the toggle bolt nuts in the wall that will hold it and match them to the cabinet. Just couldn’t be wooden studs and lag screws… would be so much easier!
Might need a helper. Otherwise, attach a temporary piece of wood on the wall for the back to rest on and prop the front up with a 2x4 post get 2 high screws set temporarily to hold it up and that might stabilize it until you get your dead screws installed. Hope you have success in your project
So many mistakes ... where to begin. Even on camera you can tell your face framesaren't aligned. Using the wrong screws (trim head), wrong length, under powered tools, high visibility black screws are you kidding me? This is a job where people say "Ohhh, you did it yourself did ya?" Hack job. Leave the doors off until the other work is done, you'll be sorry you installed them.

Wow you made it look so easy we could do it ourselves.
Lol. Absolutely!
Major respect! I am trying to remodel my parents apartment from scratch.
Awesome. Best of luck. Don't be afraid to try something new. Thanks for joining the channel.
Great video!! I'm a 55 year old female. I used your ideas to hang my cabinets myself. I was going to hired someone else to do them.
Very cool! Hope they turned out great
WOW! 😮That's awesome. Thank you for sharing your experience. You're giving me the courage to do the same.
Thanks for showing me how it's done by one person! I'd say the cuss factor is about a 3 outta 10 for this task 😉
Thanks for watching
Stay strong my friend. You and your boys will get through this.
Thank you so much! Great new videos are coming very soon!
Hey, that end result is still pretty damn good! Most importantly, though, those cabinets aren't going anywhere!!
What did you do for an exhaust ?
omg thank you for this!
You are welcome! Thanks for watching
Is there a ramge hood? I' trying to see if my son can do this for me. -- Mother

*Nope, this made me decide I am going to get help. 😅 But I am wanting to remove the old one myself. Only time will tell*
Hanging cabinets isn’t too difficult.
Don't you need to find the studs first?
You’re screwing cabs into studs yes?
Yes, I installed horizontal blocking where needed
No music...talk please..explain
