It wasn’t until my second play-through that I realized that the “The Last of Us: Part 2” is truly amazing. But, it’s a lot darker. It hits you in a different way than the first game. Very sad, too.
true. re-playing it for numerous times really gives you a lot of perspective on why things happened the way they did. nevertheless, you'll somehow always feel empty after finishing every walkthrough 😩
This trailer looks good coming from someone who finished Part 2 like 4 times. I personally absolutely loved both Part 1 and 2. For me both games are masterpieces. Goodluck to everyone who has not played Part 2 yet it is one big ass emotional roller coaster ride.
Lia's not wrong about the second game. You have to be in a mentally good place to play that game the first time around. It gets very heavy. @DannsProductions I hear you. New game plus is not as scary ot intense as your initial play through unless you play on a harder difficulty. But the game is emotionally damaging enough as is. I don't need to make it worse on myself
I bought that guitar back then, and I literally went DiCaprio pointing meme when i saw it in the trailer! They used the exact same one :O Also Jeffrey wright reprising as Isaac is perfection. The scars will be scary af
If y'all get the chance to do it, absolutely play through the second game. It remains the best, most intense experience I've ever had with a game. Looking forward to you guy's reaction to S02!!
Ellie didn't know. She wasn't told that the surgery was going to kill her. But she DID suspect that Joel was lying to her about what happened at St. Mary's. There are major spoilers for the second game, and so likely for season 2, if any more is said on the subject of Joel's dishonesty regarding that scene.

Nobody else noticed that the curtains at the end of the trailer represents part 2 but the 2 in 1s in the curtains between Joel and Ellie at the table. No wonder it only said the last of us and that’s it not season 2 or part 2 such a cool detail

Only way to say it without spoiling. IMO the game shows who is reactionary, and who is more empathetic. Some of those who are reactionary got upset that the game exposed them.
If you like TLOU part 2 it gets even better on rewatch/play. Tons of little pieces that connect and make more sense with more context. Gonna be interesting how they structure this story compared to the game.
