- Nil Diya Pokuna, a mysterious underground lake, had been explored for years. But no one knew if the lake was part of an underwater cave system. This is a first time SCUBA cave exploration of this lake situated in high altitude, but deep within a mountain, and the subsequent discovery of a massive underwater cave.

How magnificent and gigantic God's creations are! Please do more survey and find out the origin and course of this pokuna and it's definitive history if possible. It's sad how the proper history of Sri Lanka always remains incomplete just because we don't do much exploration or surveys.

Dhananjay Sharma I have made a full circle in the underwater part of the cave. Need to see if there is a hidden path beyond. But so far all indications are that this is a natural creation. Apart from discovering Sri Lanka’s first extensive underwater cave system nothing new so far.

You see, Nature is a gift of God where all our souls lie within. It's best to enjoy it as the way it is, by not finding a thrill of discovering in a way it can be polluted. I know that it's pointless explaining it to you Immigrants and as well as to some of our Pity fellow natives how inestimable this place is for us. But I'd like to convince you all oblivious people to not to sin by attempting to make trade of our Heritage, polluting immensely undiluted and Holy places like this. Cheers.! :)
