One of my friends from Canada has a son Luc, who plays the electric guitar. Slash was there for his own show. He picked up Luc's guitar and played it. How cool is that!!!
Between these commercials and the fact that the process to prequalify is EASY AF, I did end up with one of their credit cards. And I don’t regret it one bit.
For a company that has copious amounts of money you’d think they’d come up with a better commercial by now. Why would Slash even need to audition in the first place? He's Slash! He should have already been in the minute he arrived, because he's fucking Slash!
That riff is fine, but most of us who know how to play guitar could do it. They should've had him play something more difficult if the whole joke was about how amazing he is.
I really thought this was a young look alike that dressed like him and all, completely fooled me. 😆 Slash looks so young in this commercial even with the way he speaks "Oh cool". 😂 That's why I thought it was a young guy heavily influenced by him, copying his style and look playing the guitar and all.
