      That is amazing! I couldn't even imagine what it might have taken to build on of these. Hot Rod builders have NOTHING pipe organ builders. You were so lucky. May God be blessing your father, forever. As he is.

    FYI, the music was composed by the legendary Sherman Brothers (Robert and Richard), Richard died last week and Robert died a while ago. They also composed iconic Disney themes like Mary Poppins, Jungle Book, as well as "It's A Small World".

    I LOVE it when the organ plays the piano too - I don’t know why it fascinates me so much!

    • @HelloKittyFanMan
      @HelloKittyFanMan Год назад +2

      That the piano is _part of_ the organ (just like the other subinstruments are)! Yeah, it's highly fascinating, isn't it? I find especially fascinating when you can go into the back spaces of a theater with one of these and a piano (upright) is stuffed up there where you can't even see it! Like... Wow, how did they crane it into there with all the other stuff? Did it go in before the rest of the building was built, and would you have to disassemble it if it needed to be replaced?

    • @TomMcCauley1993
      @TomMcCauley1993 Месяц назад

      Think I’ve read up on other videos that the piano was connected to the organ via a midi channel. Hope that kind of makes sense?

      @@Tadfafty: I see that you've edited your OP of this thread like I suggested. That's nice! (Now that you've done the edit we should probably delete our old replies since they don't apply anymore, so as to avoid confusing future readers.)
      As for just giving yourself timestamps, I guess that's kind of an interesting idea too, because even though on a very popular video our comments will get buried pretty quickly by new ones when viewed in Newest First mode, they don't tend to be buried when viewed by our own account in Top Comments mode. So yeah, in a way that gives you a little bit of an index for that video.
      I usually just think of other people's comments as either being directly for the poster or for the community as a whole, which is why I asked my original question here (which is gone now because it became obsolete and its continued presence might confuse new readers).

    That's the first time I ever heard the "bird song" stop on an organ. But then, it's basically an enhanced Wurlitzer, which (even without enhancement) implies it could do damned near anything already.
