Can’t get enough of this track! Always makes me happy to hear Sam on the radio while driving, had to pull over to new listen to this ! Now it’s been 4 weeks and I’m singing all day everyday. I love Canada!!! These guys came out when I was in grade 9 and I’ve never looked back. Soundtrack to my youth

A song for the times, and what a great one at that! SRB is THE FINEST rock band in Canada, and should already be a household name here. Maybe the best Canadian lyricist this century, so far.
Matthew Good and Gord Downie are also lyricist legends but yea Sam Roberts is very unique as well, definitely a household Canadian name imo. More exposure than Matt Good wouldn't you say?

All Sam Roberts knows how to do, is make great rock songs!
Just wondering what Sam's musical influences were but if you ask me he may have been a fan of Echo and the Bunneymen or older Cure. Specifically the guitars both high tone lead picking and rythym textures. Maybe I'm wrong but thats what I hear.

Not a big fan of the song preferred his earlier stuff but that's just me.
It's not just you. His earlier stuff was very original, and as I mentioned before, this sounds like it was ripped off from Echo and the Bunnymen.
give the rest of the album a chance when it comes out.. the single isnt always indicative of the rest of the album.
