  • From concept to carving, the Advanced Resource Collective, better known as the ARC, is the hub for the Ride Snowboards engineer team to dream up, build out, and test any boot, board, or binding they imagine. The ARC is a prototyping and testing facility located in Seattle, and within its walls is everything Ride's engineers need to take a product from idea to existence.
Ride let us inside the ARC to get a glimpse of what goes into making the boots, boards, and bindings they're famous for. At the ARC, Ride's team of engineers is able to take any ideas they have from imagination to reality and then put it through a barrage of wear tests to make sure it passes muster. From there, it's only a short drive to the Summit at Snoqualmie to see how everything does in the mountains.

Mechanical engineering with a minor in industrial design is probably a solid bet.
