I like this nice storage solution of course I’ll need to make 100 for all my patterns lol, thanks for sharing easy to understand and great tips well done I give u 100 % A plus for a grade 😃
I enjoy your website. How did you make those wallet type bags you keep your rivets in with the sections.. I noticed one was made with a fabric you used in another video so I'm assuming you made those also. Look like they would be great carriers for small items. Do you have a tutorial for them? Thanks.
Hi Janice, I keep my rivets in Sanppy Cases, a pattern that I have here: www.etsy.com/listing/619738089/snappy-pocket-case-easy-vinyl-sewing-pdf?ref=hp_opfy-1
Oh I love that bag! Would it work if instead of matching the top edges and sewing like you did, would it work if I put the fold on the outside and make it look like a finding? I’m wondering how much extra I would have to fold over to get a faux binding, maybe an extra inch online? I am binge watching all your videos absolutely love them, Thank you
Carol I think that would work! The amount of fold over I usually do is 1/2", so the extra 1" would be great, as you could tuck 1/2" under, then fold over. Great idea :D
On rivets, you say you're using "regular," but what size is that? I'm new to installing them and am using the manual hammer and anvil method. If the posts are a little longer than needed, it seems like the press might take care of that, but the manual method is much easier when the post is just the right size. Your cap looks big, kind of like an 8mm, but your posts looked just right once you had them positioned in the vinyl. I ended up ordering/using 5mm, because the posts are perfect in terms of length, but the caps ended up being so tiny that it required two rivets on each side of the handle (4 total). It wasn't great fun to line those up evenly. I'd rather just use two per bin as you did. Maybe a press will be the answer. Would you mind offering insight around this? Thanks for all the video inspiration you share freely!
I finally sewed one today with your mod vinyl ❤ Thank you ❤

What's the seam allowance for the bottom and the side pieces?

These are 12mm rivets. :D
I would buy some defective ones if not too bad.
Can you use cotton for this same pattern ?
Yes just be sure to interface it for structure.
Great!
