You ladies are gonna love part 4 and 5. The ending on 5 is so damn visceral I mean you really feel what Rambo does when he's fueled by Vengeance and Absolution. Awesome show ladies keep up the terrific work 👌 👏 👍 😀

Wow really? I didn’t think it was that politically deep.. neither myself or Amaya following Middle East politics so probably some of the references/ideas gone over our heads. 😬
Hey Milda, first of all I just wanted to say thank you so much for reacting to this movie, I really appreciate it as many people only react to the first 2 parts and stop. There aren't many reactions to this movie so I'm really grateful you reacted to it. I'm glad you liked the movie and loved your reaction. Yes, they should have warned you that parts 4 and 5 would be a lot more gruesome. Its ok if you don't react to part 5, we don't want to torture you. I would suggest you react to the Rocky movies too after this.
@@frankdoe4940we just watched Rambo 4 , it will be available on RUclips next week. It was such an emotional rollercoaster, we have almost stopped watching half way through. 💔😭😭😭 I would rank Rambo 1 and 4 at the top of the list !
@ScreenJamm Rambo 4 is what is exactly happening in Burma and it still goes on. It's not just a propaganda, it's still a thing to fight for. I'm a Burmese and I reject the Corrupt Military ruling over us.
Chuck Norris competed against Stallone with the Missing in Action saga. The first film has a lot of similarity with Rambo, let's say that the Missing in Action saga is almost a copy of Rambo. And the producer of his films was his brother Aaron Norris.
Ladies i have a serious warning for you both before you watch the next Rambo movie, for me it's the second best in the franchise BUT it's extremely graphic, the horrors of war are fully shown. Loving your Rambo reactions xx
@ScreenJamm what makes this scene stand out is because in the second movie, we see the reused clips from tightening up his explosive arrowheads but the tension where the helicopter coming and you're in the middle of setting up your bow and arrow is just perfect.
While Stallone is known for his action films, if you want to see his funny side you might try the movie "Oscar" Just make sure to be ready to watch without breaks or you will be lost like some in the film. Also if you like Bruce Willis films and want a funny one with a Stallone (his brother Frank, you will know the face as the family traits are strong) you can try "Hudson Hawk" Two personal favorites I feel get under rated as they are more comedy than the action the two hit actors are known for. Also the using the gunpowder really is used to burn a bleeding wound. The location of the wound is at high risk for infection, if it breaks the intestines death is likely without prompt treatment. Also an added point with gunpowder in a wound, it does contain sulfur with antibiotic properties. Still such a wound is often life threating and with the placement I think they intended it to pass between the muscle and the internals of the gut that makes it just plausible.
There is a movie that not a lot of reactors react to, and it is such an underrated movie. If you haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend Warrior from 2011. It stars Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton, and Nick Nolte. You won't be disappointed.
Yes, strangely enough, black powder to cauterise a wound is very effective. I never saw a Rambo movie at the time, but was impaled on my left flank by a young Tursiops Amicus (a dolphin) too curious. Already shreded by rocks on my swim back on an island in the middle of the night, it was all I had. It hurts like hell, and left you p*ssed off for a few days (well, months, but that's irelevant). "How was your summer ?" Dark half look & no words.

@@jonathanwelchbmnc7615 what I have noticed with Rambo films so far that all movies made to raise some sort of awareness. Was this film also same case?
@@ScreenJamm Yes. The Russian invasion of Afghanistan formed the basis for the Taliban, who were originally the Mujahidin, the horse riders that helped Rambo. This is simply US government propaganda to normalize that we were sending the Mujahidin Stinger missiles to fight the Soviets. These Mujahidin we organized, trained, and supplied then became the Taliban. It's a US government standard. We create the "terrorists" we later have to go destroy to "save the civilized world." The freedom fighters we supplied in Syria? ISIS. Pakistani freedom fighters we supplied and trained? Al-Queda. I wonder what terrorist organization will form in Ukraine?
So much is clear about what women don't understand when they think they're making smart comments during a movie about war. Neither of them notices the ignorance of the other. They also don't seem to recognize they don't understand things. They don't express any desire to understand(curiosity). I don't know how anyone can watch Rambo III and not notice the bizarre fact that this came out Before! the US had a military presence there. The script proved we had all the necessary intelligence to know better, but we went in anyway. The movie calls the rebels Freedom Fighters. It might have been better to give them a name - Taliban or something.
All the films in this series have social/political objectives. When the Soviets knew that this film was coming out, they actually stepped up their timetable of withdrawal from Afghanistan so that by the time of its release they could say they were "effectively out."
@@Sasha-q7g4u They did for this one. Well, they were withdrawing anyway, because the Afghans finally had Stinger missiles and were shooting down their aircraft. They no longer had control of the skies. But they pushed the evacuation schedule a bit harder because this film was about to be released. They wanted to minimize the film's propaganda value against them. Similarly, Rambo II and the first two Chuck Norris Missing in Action films put pressure on Vietnam to account better for MIA/POWs. Missing in Action III caused Vietnam to soften the rules about letting the half-American children of servicemen be sent to America for adoption. And the ruling military in Burma got put into the spotlight by Rambo IV and eventually instituted some reforms.
