Who really thought that she was doing her on makeup? 80% of brides are most likely going to hire someone just to not have the stress. It was marketing and business, and she played her role well.
@DaisyTheCorgi She's explicitly stated she's not doing her makeup on her wedding day and I saw a tiktok of Mario and another famous makeup artist doing her wedding makeup so she never stated she was doing it herself or said their work was hers
@darkenthrust2344 That's what I'm saying. I can understand if she did the tiktoks, found her foundation, etc. and had her makeup artist use it on her. I think she just wanted a big dream wedding so to cover the cost she tried to get elf to sponsor the wedding but to do that she had to make a compromise by adding a few extra influencers to the list so that her wedding could trend, and she would get a better check. I don't think that this is as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. She could very well be friends with them in real life for all we know so .....
It probably wouldn't be such a big deal abt the elf thing imo if more of their actual families had been invited. like, why not have them sponsor the bachelorette party, make that content, give all of her besties the influencer treatment / experience while having a few select close influencer friends go as well for content? i think that would've been cute, and all her life long besties could've had a blast playing influencer for the night :( then the wedding could be the wedding, and elf could've had a presence if he RLLY needed that coin, but the all influencer guest list made it so tacky. i feel like there's a way to do it and this way just wasn't it.
If you think about it though, it makes perfect sense. She was a bully in high school, and she is a bully now. Making sure her friends know her place in life and it's the ultimate display of I am so much better than you, and I am inviting you to something special that I am having but now I change my mind because someone more famous and rich came along and took your place so just know how lucky you even are to be my friend at all. I can say from my experience You do forget some of the things about your wedding day, you get caught up in all the excitement. But the things I haven’t forgotten are the moments I shared with the most important people in my life. My husband, our parents grandparents and closest friends. I think she will look back and think to herself “that was so dumb why did I invite all these people I hardly knew” because the moments you share with them on your wedding day (if any) just aren’t the same as the ones you had with your nearest and dearest.
I understand that her friend of 10+ years was upset, that's rlly shitty of her to just not send an invitation like that. even though I feel bad for her she should have been smarter in not leaking where the guests and Makayla might be staying since its not safe and dangerous.
The friends' reaction to not being invited seems to indicate why she may not be invited. Who would want to invite someone who lashes out like that when upset to a major event where there's going to be alcohol, influencers, and cameras?
this girl will literally do anything for money. she’s a COMPLETELY different person from when she first started. i really thought she was gonna be different from every one else but this just shows shes just money grabbing.

She seems like a smart and successful business woman. Does that mean she's honest and transparent and morally right in her business decisions? No. Unfortunately in this situation, she's really mixing business and personal life. But all this publicity, attention, promotion, networking, brand exposure, etc is really paying bills. I bet she has the entire wedding paid off, even the honeymoon. She's built up brand loyalty, networking relationships, and an entire work catalogue. She's today's meaning of "boss lady." Does that mean we should be loyal, trust, and idolize her? No. I don't. But she is a business woman and a successful one, doing what needs to be done to live well in America's capitalist society. Edit: I do wonder if being a "woman in business" opens her up to harsher, personal judgement. Why do men in business make smart, strategic, and successful business decisions, but then women in business make calculated, dishonest, and shady business decisions? I think there is a larger, subnarrative here to how people perceive and respond to her.
If I was an influencer, I would’ve kept my wedding private. I rather have close family & friends. Plus these influencers in the long run, will screw you over.

The fact that she released a video on her wedding the day of the wedding says it all.
She had an Elf sponsored wedding with influencers. So tacky
Elf probably paid a chunk towards the wedding
It takes a special kind of man to listen to that voice everyday
I'm so sick and tired of this woman at this point... Every time you hear about her it's nothing good. Why do people like that still have platforms?
Because you’re watching a drama channel?
Exactly
Idk I’ve never watched her and I don’t get the appeal. Like I don’t want to be rude but so far I’ve not seen any redeeming qualities…
@@loverrleeyou're not the only one lol.
@@loverrleeshe does amazing makeup videos. The drama is just generated by people like this channel who profit from drama. She can invite whoever she wants to her wedding and go about it the way she wants.
Mikayla is such a grifter to the point where I appreciate her hustle 😂 Also...her acting like shes a Kardashian where the influencers prep for HER events. Slay 💅😂
I was confused because she kept talking about how special it would be to do HER OWN makeup for her wedding so that’s what lost me
She contradicts herself all the time, seems to be a theme when $$$$ is involved. LOL
I feel like I've only seen videos of her saying she's not doing her own wedding makeup. She's oicking the products but she has explicitly said she is getting it done by someone else
We talked 20 minutes and felt like an hour isn't a compliment 😂
Silly me.. I thought a wedding was about marrying someone you love and not a business transaction 😅
Yoooo, FACTS!
History shows that a lie 😅
right?? and the amount of people being like "grwm for MIKAYLA'S wedding!" like... what about Cody? isn't this supposed to be about their love? it's so sad :((
@honbunni agreed seems sad , I mean you do you . But why have a wedding somthing thats meant to be lovely for you and family ...just a party if its all "sponsored" and public.
Mikayla is all about the money. Cody is just the dog on the leash
6:38: JAmes Charles lifting his "wig" 😂😂😂😂
I knew the Wedding was going to be a branding and influencer extravaganza. Where’s the specialness in this wedding? 😂
It’s her wedding… there doesn’t have to be “specialness”

Imagine being her husband, not realizing you mean nothing but a promo to her. Like where’s HIS wedding? Where’s his identity?his friends/family?
Who really thought that she was doing her on makeup? 80% of brides are most likely going to hire someone just to not have the stress. It was marketing and business, and she played her role well.
@DaisyTheCorgi She's explicitly stated she's not doing her makeup on her wedding day and I saw a tiktok of Mario and another famous makeup artist doing her wedding makeup so she never stated she was doing it herself or said their work was hers
But I don't understand the point of all the TikTok's she did to find the perfect lip shade and everything
@darkenthrust2344 That's what I'm saying. I can understand if she did the tiktoks, found her foundation, etc. and had her makeup artist use it on her. I also understand that makeup artist are partially to their favorites, but it's a service, so even makeup by Mario would've used what she wanted for her day. She got her coins and freebies and partnership, so it is what it is.
@@darkenthrust2344the bride still has a say in makeup style/colours when an MUA is doing their makeup, she probably just didn’t want to choose the wrong colours and regret it later
I would've thought she'd do it herself. I mean, makeup influencer making a whole series for choosing her makeup products for her wedding, and then using a brand for it....figured she'd be doing it herself.
It's not her wedding. It's their wedding. Everyone forgets the groom and what he wants.
Most grooms don’t even play an active part in the wedding planning 🤷🏾♀️ so the wedding is the bride’s day.
@@thelostdutchess That's completely ridiculous. It's about two people coming together in marriage, not a dress up party for a self important woman who thinks the world revolves around them.. I honestly believe people have forgotten what it actually means to be married and have a marriage.
At this point, I am not surprised about the things she does and just makes me appreciate myself for not EVER following her or supporting her. Everything makeup related is just about her at this point and it's exhausting. She is like the Trisha of the beauty community, I swear
Yas!!! Best example!!
True I never took her reviews seriously
If I was a big influencer and was getting married and decided to make it like a influencer event. My husband and family would be RAGING!!! If her husband agreed then fair play but drop people for influencers then you're dumb.
She knows what she is doing i.e making as much money and promotion as possible and as silly and ridiculous she is. She knows how to make that dollar.😂
Let's be honest. That girl does not give off the vibe that she has many friends lol. Probably needed to pad her wedding somehow.
“I talked to her for 20, 30 minutes, it felt like an hour” sounds so funny out of context 🤣
NAHH THOSE FRIENDS WHO MIKAYLA IGNORED SHOULD DROP MIKAYLA
They will now…
I think she just wanted a big dream wedding so to cover the cost she tried to get elf to sponsor the wedding but to do that she had to make a compromise by adding a few extra influencers to the list so that her wedding could trend, and she would get a better check. I don't think that this is as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. She could very well be friends with them in real life for all we know so .....
@DaisyTheCorgi Weddings are incredibly expensive. You can't be mad at someone for trying to offset the costs.
I doubt she has any friends she just uses people to get what she wants Wonder what's next. Why hasn't you tube banned her yet for all her lies
@DaisyTheCorgiyou clearly have no idea how much weddings can cost
She literally commercialised and commodified her wedding
the "doxxing" is a non-issue. literally not what doxxing is
Maybe she doesn’t have real friends?
SCREEEEEEEAMIIIIIIING 😂😂😂😂
It probably wouldn't be such a big deal abt the elf thing imo if more of their actual families had been invited. like, why not have them sponsor the bachelorette party, make that content, give all of her besties the influencer treatment / experience while having a few select close influencer friends go as well for content? i think that would've been cute, and all her life long besties could've had a blast playing influencer for the night :( then the wedding could be the wedding, and elf could've had a presence if he RLLY needed that coin, but the all influencer guest list made it so tacky. i feel like there's a way to do it and this way just wasn't it.
BRAND TRIP WEDDING HELP 💀 i mean… they kinda spilled but-
How disrespectful to your spouse to make your wedding all about a brand deal. Weird af.
The thing is, who sends save the dates to people who arent invited to the wedding? Ive never seen that before
If you think about it though, it makes perfect sense. I'm not surprised
That’s what I was confused about, correct me if I’m wrong. Aren’t saved the dates an invitation? Plus she put multiple addresses of the location. That whole friend part was confusing.
@@larisamelendez7964 save the date is more like a heads up to an invite, its not the invite itself, it helps guests figure out if they can go or not before the invite comes, and also is an announcement of when it's all taking place
Lol James’ GRWM, how has he been popular for this long and STILL not match his foundation 😭😭😭
CAN’T FORGET THE PERFUME & cologne BULL shit too! It has their engagement photos on the box SMH!
I really don't like her... Like cool, get your coin sis but don't DRAG your TRUE fans into the b.s. She made SUCH a big deal about trying to find a “PERFUME” she's a f’ing JOKE in my eyes!!!
This channel is the best ,honestly. Catched up on so much drama
Well it was obvious that she was gonna financially benefit from her wedding why people are surprised especially due to her history?
I am glad she is married so we don't have to hear about it anymore. So sad to see she dropped her friends for her wedding for influencers. I do like her elf lip combo, such a pretty color but not buying it now
I have thoughts but at the end of the day, I don't care. People get played by these weirdos constantly & they just keep going back. A sponsored wedding is peak 2023 and I just can't be bothered. Thanks for the vid!
Non influencers don’t post so there is no way to assume that it was only influencer attended. It’s her day she can do what she wants and doesn’t owe anyone other than Cody an explanation
Judging for the guests I can say that was a trashy wedding
@DaisyTheCorgi : I don't think they cared about the food, if you know what I mean....
the fact that i have no idea yesterday was a bunch of grwm vids on my tiktok makes me feel blessed
Same mess but different day 😂😂😂😂
She acts like the first and last human to ever be married lmao. I can't with her
The circus came to Rhode Island along with the clowns and the one-trick ponies. Churros, nachos and cotton candy courtesy of ELF! Makeup by KIM KAAARDASHEEEAAAAAANNNN’s glam squad. Also starring Cody and executive produced by Mikayla Nogueira!
I’m sorry but RI doesn’t need anymore clowns and 1 trick ponies😂
The same way she spent the entire year fake looking for foundation is the same way she spent a year fake looking for a lipstick lol it’s all about the money, collabs and free product 🤷🏽♀️
I can say from my experience
You do forget some of the things about your wedding day, you get caught up in all the excitement.
She’s a businesswoman through and through, it’s her wedding and her decision so good for her.
It’s giving *ace family wedding with fans* vibes
THIS!
Chris sneaking in that "Kim Kardashian" in the video took me out 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Im just glad her wedding is over, hopefully we wont have anymore drama for the next 5 minutes
"the next 5 minutes" has me rolling 😂
She was “struggling to find her wedding lip combo”
Jesus h Christ.
Mikaylacon I'm dying 💀💀💀
She looks so good I’m in awe. I need a Chris Appleton and Mario for my nonexistent wedding.
I understand that her friend of 10+ years was upset, that's rlly shitty of her to just not send an invitation like that. even though I feel bad for her she should have been smarter in not leaking where the guests and Makayla might be staying since its not safe and dangerous.
IF!!! She just had to show the save the date card, maybe wait the day after or two days after the wedding so it wouldn’t been seen as doxxing
The friends' reaction to not being invited seems to indicate why she may not be invited. Who would want to invite someone who lashes out like that when upset to a major event where there's going to be alcohol, influencers, and cameras?
@@icygurl747 why are we assuming it was on purpose? she could've posted it not realizing the address was in the shot until someone said something

this girl will literally do anything for money. she’s a COMPLETELY different person from when she first started. i really thought she was gonna be different from every one else but this just shows shes just money grabbing.
talking about everyone’s fyp and mine didn’t have a single tiktok, thanks teaspill for let me know about this wedding
It’s like a GRWM was required for an invite😒
Monetizing your wedding? This is the bad place.
This is in a way kind of like the weird modern social media version of inviting your coworkers to your wedding😅😂
It does give brand trip vibes though, especially with the elf marketing on the items.
She may have been a small-town, down-home girl when she started but she isn’t now. Her soul has been sold to the industry. I would never have a bunch of strangers that I barely know at my wedding. No amount of clout is worth that. Her wedding was all about clout and status and who you know. I’m just waiting for the BBL surgery announcement and the move to L.A. Y’all know it’s coming. 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
I cant believe ELF sponsored the wedding...😏
She used her wedding for business…
She generated tons of views because of videos about it
She invited influencers to get more exposure and grow her audience…
At this point I’m just wondering if her mariage is even real…
I'm genuinely not even surprised. She's shameless at this point
I feel she lost a lot of sponsorships and money after lashgate and now she’s doing everything she can to get back on everyone’s good side.
Nothings ever gonna change, these controversies just bring in more people and they know
What is so sad is the amount of people here judging another person. 😢
Yeah... People don't like her. However, you cannot deny that she's a business person. She could have had a private ceremony already; and now she's having a public wedding event. Having Elf pay for this super extravaganza wedding, is pretty smart.
hmm true true :dd
Right basically a free wedding
@@kakishisfriend1126 Right!? I mean, I'd do it. I think it would be pretty sweet to have a big wedding, followed by a big high-end party afterwards.

Yea, this marriage wont last.
There's no way a cheap ass"ELF" lipstick can get you through a long wedding day. Anyone that knows anything about makeup knows that especially her🤣😂
Elf's products ARE good. Sure the lipstick may not last, but being cheap is better than $75 for a foundation, or $30 for a lipstick
An affordable brand does not equal bad quality; that’s a dumb, outdated thought.
@Makeupmakestheworld an elf lipstick is not going to stay put on your wedding day no matter what you say. Not so much the price point but the lipstick formula is very dollar tree will come off asap. That's all I was trying to say.
Elf is a good company so sad they worked with makyla
I'm sorry, but what does ELF being "cheap" (more affordable) have to do with their quality? Everyone knows their makeup is great- Literally how aren't they good? What are you talking about? 💀
