She still doesn’t address the influencers who were barely meeting her for the first time at her wedding, or the fact that she made an entire series of how she was going to do her makeup for her wedding day
Like, y'all know people can lie right? I just can't with how some fans literally believe everything these influencers say even when it's been outright obvious how much they lie for content.
i get so frustrated with the world because we NEED to cancel her, she is a horrible influencer and a compulsive liar. I wish EVERYONE would just shut up about her and hit that unfollow button, she needs to be humbled, i think she actually believes she is untouchable because she has such a huge following
who sends a save the date to someone who isn't their friend? also, she has some big balls to be acting all scandalized that people would think what we were all thinking. um because girl, it's on brand for you to do exactly what we were all thinking and i'm still not convinced she isn't lying through her teeth about it.
If this was some other influencer I could have empathised with them but the fact she literally made a career out of lies and scams and now she is crying about how people are questioning her wedding, is heartbreaking for her but doesn't take any accountability how her own actions led to this.
Mikayla loves gaslighting and lying. Even if it was a sponsored wedding and it's how she wants it but it must've still felt shitty for her real friends AND family not to be invited. Money and fame over friendship. I would never think to leave my friends and especially family out on a special day.
When she said that that save-the-date person wasn’t a friend, “and you can see why,” we were supposed to believe that that person was why they weren’t friends when Mikayla seems to have ended the friendship. And 10% of the guest lists being major influencers is a lot. Her non-influencer guests may as well have not been there. Funny how she also says they’re friends she talks to all the time and sees at events, yet several of them said they were exited to get to meet her, meaning they hadn’t met her before. And when I’m excited for a friend’s wedding, I don’t share that excitement with something about getting ready with ME for my own personal financial gain. She turned her wedding into a business write-off.
I don’t watch or follow her, so I could be wrong but she said only 10% were influencers? So where’s the other 90%? Wouldn’t her grandma accidentally show up in the background of a Patrick Star video for example as he’s filming the scenery? She was trending cause of all the influencers posting, even people I don’t follow were showing up in my feed cause “its…MIKAYLA’S WEEDDDDAAAING! Ahhh!” so I was seeing these videos against my will by people I don’t follow, and I didn’t see any non influencer/family and friends accidentally or just so happen to be in the shot. The dancefloor for example: so only influencers were dancing? Like recording selfie dance-sing-along videos on the dance floor? Or recording other people dance as they sit down for a break or a glass of water? All that was influencers? Not one “normie” accidentally walking in the shot or joining in on the dancefloor? In my honest opinion I think she already had a private wedding with strictly family and friends *only* and then did this one for content- well all know she has enough money to do two weddings if she wanted.
I hope they DO stay together...I mean, her relationship and private life are separate from her bs. However, I'd be lying if I said I didn't think this to myself when she said it.
If she was smart she’d lean into it and be like yeaaaaa my wedding was sponsored- that’s not something every influencer do- I saw an opportunity to have my dream wedding and took it and I’m very grateful. If she were even smarter she’d publicly donate a large sun of money to a charity in gratitude
I love the contrast between Mikayla’s wedding and Emily Mariko’s. Emily is a huge influencer yet her wedding was so quiet, peaceful, and lowkey. I don’t think there were any influencers there and while she did post a lot of wedding content, it was very much “quiet luxury” instead of mikayla’s wedding which seemed so obviously promoted by influencers. Really shows how much influencers prioritize their content over their personal lives. Mikayla is so washed up to me.
She was more concerned about earning more clout and $$$ than having a special, quiet/personal wedding. I can't stand this woman and have no idea why anyone would follow her duplicitous, grifting ass!
You're an "influencer" on social media, you've willingly opened the door for people to know and talk about your life. That means your wedding too. Also, she said that she had 175 guests and only 10% were influencers. I think there were more than 18 'get ready with me' videos. 😂
As a RI native.. her fake accent gets more egregious by the day 😂 the way she said PAHT-nuh literally no one talks like that even 60 year old women who’ve never left Cranston
It’s insane, and you can see the accent becoming more prominent over the years. But her gullible fans say “sHE wAs InsECUrE” and “sHe HiD hEr aCCent”. Bitch please. 🙄
Let's not forget she herself posted AT LEAST 20 teaser videos about her wedding so she MADE it a very public thing. Can't do THAT without expecting some backlash. 🤷
i think it's ironic that she doesn't want people speaking bad about her wedding but she made it *such* a public event, not to mention publicised it even more by inviting so many influencers. not hating the influencers at all- just saying that they are public-ish figures she invited.
Nothing Mikayla says should be trusted. I don't understand why people continue to ignore her pattern of poor behavior and reward her with their presence and support. Let go of toxic people. You're not missing out on anything.
If she would just admit it was sponsored because she wants to be able to afford her dream wedding. That would be VERY understandable. But all her bs is making her look more and more like an off brand jackleyn Hill.
Her accent is so fucking fake I can’t with her. Idk how people still follow her and believe anything she says. This woman has been lying since the day she started getting big

@@Shyknitbut like from the way she acts she seems money hungry… so that’s why people look at her sideways 😭😭 she lowkey brought this on herself like her character isn’t the best . Lying for money is one of them.
Honestly, she did this to herself by lying about mascara. Ever since then, I don’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth. The only reason I think she MIGHT be telling the truth about her wedding is because of the fact that she addressed it because it seems like when she gets called out for lying she disappears, and when she comes back she just ignores the situation & pretends it never happened. I also find it arrogant how she laughs when she addresses each of the “rumors” when it’s perfectly reasonable for people to question someone who is a proven liar who values money over honesty. 🤷🏻♀️
I really liked her relatable nature when she first started out. She wasn't all fancy and flashy just "one of us' but nobody NOBODY can change my opinion that she's alllllll about the money now. Regardless if its in her fans best interests.
Johnny Ross spoke in a podcast about attending her wedding and he couldn't seem to understand why people were going on and on about it. Here's the comment that I posted: "I think the chatter around Mikayla’s wedding is a testament to what happens when you’re dishonest and disingenuous with your audience. I don’t have a horse in the race because I’m not her target audience. However, I can see why the community thought that her wedding was sponsored and she was inviting influencers she’d never met. Dylan started that when she said it would be her first time meeting Mikayla in person. Plus, she chose to release a wedding video featuring the Elf goodie bags, etc."
😩😩😩 This. I hate when people put clips of her speaking in their videos. Her voice kills me. And I usually don't speak about people's voices since it belongs to them as is. But hers, not so sure.
Mhm… so these influencers were at her wedding bc they are her friends, yet some of them said they were excited to meet her and get to know her? Totally matches up.
@@TIsHealing Because she didn’t say she didn’t know the person or that she didn’t sent that person the STD or anything at all of that nature. She said, “That person isn’t a friend, and you can see why.” Thing is, if the claim is true that Mikayla sent STDs, then didn’t follow them up with invitations, then she ended those friendships. So we can see why that person isn’t a friend-Mikayla ended it to make more space for influencers. So it’s clear Mikayla sent it to that person.
I fail to understand why people care about how she does her wedding. yes care about lash gate and undisclosed sponsorships, filters, etc. but if she wants to make her wedding an influencer event she is allowed to. The internet criticizes weddings specifically SO HARSHLY no matter what. Even if she invited no influencers and didnt have the collab with elf ppl would be pissy she shared her wedding at all bc its "a private moment". eventually Mikayla will stop taking any criticism at all bc ppl are just harassing her over anything bc they dont like her.
I don't believe for a second that it wasn't sponsored. Why else would she plaster Elf's name everywhere. She's a known liar so at this point I wouldn't believe her anyway
I just think in my opinion that if she wants to televise her weeding to a bunch of influencers. Fine. But I also think that she should be able to invite the people that love and care about her and not make it into a marketing tactic. like it’s her wedding like come on. She should be able to have that private. But I guess the money is more important than memories.

Yeah, i believe her as much as i believe my estranged husband who says he now still loves me and wants to try again. She turned her wedding into content to make it a business expense and she could get write offs. Doesnt mean it wasnt how she wanted it, doesnt mean she and her husband dont love each other. But all her actions point in that direction
If she loved her husband, then something about this wedding would have reflected him. She just needed someone to marry to have a wedding. It’s not going to last, not when she can’t even let the wedding reflect him too. It was all about HER, down to HER name being fucking logo’d all over everything.
I'm still trying to figure out what everyone finds so incredibly interesting about this lady that they have followed her for so long and made her into this big name influencer! Is it her weird fake accent (she says it's not, but come on!). Is it her very obviously over lined and obviously plumped up lips. Is it her unusual and different features? Is it her huge amounts and layers of makeup she puts on her face everyday. I'm just not seeing the "pull" that everyone else is obviously seeing. This was a party and business transaction… this was not a “wedding”. A wedding is a celebration of 2 souls becoming one in witness of your closest family and friends. It’s a life long promise in-front of those close to you (as witness) that this union will be forever faithful and fruitful. If she wanted to do it the way she did she should of just thrown a huge party and bought a fancy dress. A wedding should be an intimate event.
For once I will agree with Mikayla: it is upsetting to have people tear apart your wedding day. The day you can only really have ONCE in you lifetime. HOWEVER… Mikayla chose to have a public influencer wedding (whether she says she did or not she knew the kinda attention all those influencers would bring). If she really wanted a beautiful day with close “friends” and family then she should have done just that. But she probably knew she could rake in some dough from this and chose that. In today’s society I understand get your coin/bag but don’t lie about it or complain about the consequences. TLDR: agree with Mikayla how it’s not nice to have your wedding trashed but she chose to have a public wedding so she’s gotta live with that.
Also even if those influencers are her friends/coworkers as she mentions, if she didn’t want it to be a public spectacle she would have simply asked people not to post anything until she does.
I think the whole problem is that she set herself up for this. By being untrustworthy and secretive, she invited people to speculate on her every move. I think that's fair. Hope she had fun though and that maybe this will show her she needs to be honest
Okay like, I can understand people not liking Mikayla after she broke the trust of her audience. But I think y'all don't understand that her wedding is her own personal affairs, which is to say what she chooses to do/who she invites is up to her and Cody. If she chose not to invite certain family/friends, that is up to the couple to decide and it isn't malicious or dirty in any way-- literally EVERY WEDDING has those choices. I think everyone is making something out of nothing tbh, y'all just making up reasons to hate instead of just picking from the already existing things. Influencers can be friends with influencers guys, we see that all the time. And like. That is "her" makeup that was made especially for her wedding so I don't see the problem with her sharing it as a party favor for her guests. BUT THAT'S JUST ME IDK. (also I feel the need to say that I don't support her violating FTC guidelines but I don't think that is a reason to bash her literal every move jesus christ) :/
Ten percent would be 17/18 people. I don't know which influencers attended, but that does seem like what's been floating around. Ten percent is a huge chunk, though... That's a lot of people blasting their "special day" to the world. SUPER weird to me.
No one is going to believe her.. Even if it is true. She has shown time and time again that she can be so easily influenced by money and brand deals so OF COURSE she would like to cover it up.
The thing that bugs me the most is that her husband isn’t even on social media yet she found it appropriate to post their entire wedding or almost entire wedding on social media that just does not feel fair in any way
Kinda got mad because she said “I paid for my whole wedding!” Like girlll you should’ve be thanking for the people that she basically scammed……wish the IRS comes for these “influencers” like stop lying and NOT FOLLOWING THE ONLINE LAWS when you work for big companies!!!!. Yes, so we are supposed to believe that "kissing booth" promoting a company's product was fully paid by her and that no brand had to do with it, that it was just the goodness of her heart... What she says could be true, but I am hesitant to believe a word coming from her mouth when she has shown many times already that lying to the people is not something that bothers her.
She's going to look back one day at her wedding and regret inviting influencers and involving the elf booth. Your wedding should be a special day that you can cherish forever, I can see her being blinded by the money for now but I can see her re doing her wedding and keeping it private in the future
"No I wasn't sponsored, I just collabed a little with e.l.f. and they just happened to pay me a boatload of money for that teeny tiny little inconsequential collab." Millionaires can cry me river... go and use 100s as tissue.
She never addressed the influencers who said they were “so excited to meet her for the first time” like why would you want people you’ve never met at your wedding?
this girl is smart, the more she lies , the more controversial she has the more she gets attention and followers. If it wasn't for all of this i wouldn't know about her . People dont like her but sure they like to give her attention
She made her bed as a liar and doesn't want to lay in it, you can't get mad when people don't believe what you say anymore or think of you as a good person
“I knew I wasn’t going to do my hair and makeup for my wedding.” Sorry but wasn’t her whole thing testing out different products to find her perfect line up for her wedding makeup? That’s how she blew up and lot of why she received products from brands were because they were hoping she’d choose their products for her wedding day. But then she just hired a makeup artist to do her makeup using their own products? So was she just baiting people if she knew she was never going to do her own makeup from the start?
I'm convinced her wedding was a brand trip. No one just hires Kim Kardashian's glam team by "making a TikTok only they would see", UNLESS you're close with both of them. Also that booth looks professionally made, and who in their right mind would give out x party favors/souvenirs? That's clearly a sponsored wedding.

@@mikanahfam3377I can’t imagine how Cody felt or their family who aren’t influencers seeing all these no name TikTokers
Just because she denied it doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
Especially accurate in her case 😒
THANK YOU for saying that, she's not trustworthy in any way.
The save the date easily could have been faked
Or she could have been a friend and they had a falling out after
Her wedding "wasn't sponsored" and now she's "speaking out" ;) about her wedding. Everything out of her mouth is a lie.
Also, why would that person have a save-the-date card if they weren’t friend to begin with? Mikayla uninvited her and we all know it
I don’t watch or follow her, so I could be wrong but she said only 10% were influencers?
It’s the lies and defensiveness are what turns us off, she can apologize for her mistakes but instead she acts like she can never do anything wrong.
The gag of her thinking she only getting married once is hilarious. None of these influencer relationships last long . I give it 5 years
I know right the way she said it aswell like she's so important
5? 2 at most
@@Jin.1000Even 2 is generous. A year for being married
I hope they DO stay together...I mean, her relationship and private life are separate from her bs. However, I'd be lying if I said I didn't think this to myself when she said it.
Years? Let's make that months 😂😂
Mikayla is so washed up to me.
emily's wedding was so classy and beautiful
Yessss! I love seeing Emily’s videos
She was more concerned about earning more clout and $$$ than having a special, quiet/personal wedding. I can't stand this woman and have no idea why anyone would follow her duplicitous, grifting ass!
@@alexismaddie__ it rlly was. even the content filming was peaceful. 10/10
If Emily did the same thing no one would care
You're an "influencer" on social media, you've willingly opened the door for people to know and talk about your life. That means your wedding too.
Also, she said that she had 175 guests and only 10% were influencers. I think there were more than 18 'get ready with me' videos. 😂
As a RI native.. her fake accent gets more egregious by the day 😂 the way she said PAHT-nuh literally no one talks like that even 60 year old women who’ve never left Cranston
Fr she sounds like she has a 3lb lougie in her throat it’s disgusting.
I’m glad you said this since I thought she sounded very fake.
It’s like she hasn’t had to use it in a while. 😂
It’s insane, and you can see the accent becoming more prominent over the years. But her gullible fans say “sHE wAs InsECUrE” and “sHe HiD hEr aCCent”. Bitch please. 🙄
I cringe every time I hear her try to fake that accent it’s so cringe 😬 😬🤣🤣
OMG “off brand JH” 😂😂😂
"Influencers at my wedding weren't influencers...they were my friends!" Damn girl you friends with people who haven't even really met you yet?
Someone needs to do a study on her fans bc how could someone be okay with her actions and fake accent
finally someone said it lol I cant stand her fake accent
Fr 😂
Her accent drives me insane lol fake as the words coming out of her mouth 😢
Her accent is so fucking fake I can’t with her. Idk how people still follow her and believe anything she says. This woman has been lying since the day she started getting big
Somebody should count all of the GRWM videos for her wedding and then find the actual percentage of influencers that attended her wedding.
3:40 imagine dropping real friends to invite fake influencers, thats insane
Tbf we don't know that woman either, they may have been just acquaintances or stopped being friends recently

If influencers don’t want anyone to say anything about their wedding, have a wedding Jenna Marbles style. That simple.
Or just have a normal wedding. (I dunno how Jenna got married, so if that’s what it was, then yeah)
@@canoncosplays It was beyond normal, and secret, and meant just for them. It was def even more lowkey than a normal wedding.
I really liked her relatable nature when she first started out. She wasn't all fancy and flashy just "one of us' but nobody NOBODY can change my opinion that she's alllllll about the money now. Regardless if its in her fans best interests.
It amazes how influencers dig themselves a grave by constantly lying and act surprised when people make up rumors about them.
Okay so like how does anybody tolerate her voice though.
😩😩😩 This. I hate when people put clips of her speaking in their videos. Her voice kills me. And I usually don't speak about people's voices since it belongs to them as is. But hers, not so sure.
I know right I thought I was the only one that thought she sounds like a Trucker that some 3 packs a day
Sorry, and that Face!!!...
It seems to get worse every time I hear her 🙉
Yeeeeeeessssssss and her accent is sooooooo fake & phony. You can tell by the cracks in her voice- it's not natural 🙄
Why do people believe literally a SINGLE WORD that mikayla says at this point
every words coming out of Mikayla's mouth, I'll gonna put a grain of salt on that
Agreed!
Mhm… so these influencers were at her wedding bc they are her friends, yet some of them said they were excited to meet her and get to know her? Totally matches up.
So, if they weren't her friend - why send "Save the Date"? Aren't these cards for people you'd invite?
😂exactly. she didn't say that she didn't send the save the date, or that it wasn't her save the date. She lies and it's gross
Yep exactly! She's lying as usual
How do we know that the girl didn’t take a picture of someone else’s save the date?
@@TIsHealing bc M said she sent the STD but chose not to send her an invite lol.
I can understand people being skeptical of her wedding not being sponsored or any affiliation, but I agree that people are taking it as a hate train
I don't believe for a second that it wasn't sponsored. Why else would she plaster Elf's name everywhere. She's a known liar so at this point I wouldn't believe her anyway
Why am I not convinced even A SINGLE PERCENT by her response?
it is a little odd she’d have so many influencers at her wedding- usually it’s a more personal environment.
Right, she never met a few of them until her wedding day. Guh-ross
How she got famous and actually has influence over people I'll never understand.
I just think in my opinion that if she wants to televise her weeding to a bunch of influencers. Fine. But I also think that she should be able to invite the people that love and care about her and not make it into a marketing tactic. like it’s her wedding like come on. She should be able to have that private. But I guess the money is more important than memories.
yes money is more important than memories. You WISH you can make money off of anything in your life. Stay broke

Honestly, I don't believe a single word she said.
I can't imagine that Chris and Mario did all that work for free.
She is always so transparent and never uses filters either.
(Yes I have watched a few videos because I'm trying to see what she is all about and why she is so famous - still looking for it)

@@Saddles_N_Sauvignon then I'm getting old too 😂 Can't wrap my head around what all the fuss is about these days. Maybe people find hobgoblins interesting? I don’t get it, but I guess it’s possible.
You said just what I was thinking!
Господи, да кто может слушать эту шепилявую тетку, которая рисует губы в два раза больше своего контура? Неприятная особа от и до.
Ее фейковый голос меня раздражает ужасно, першит в горле 😂
I will die on the hill that she is over exagerating the accent.
Over exaggerating is an understatement. She sounds like she was raised on real housewives and jersey shore.
@@canoncosplaysto me she sound like a heavy smoker
I’m truly glad she had the wedding of her dreams.
I mean.. we can literally do the math 😂 175 people were invited. X amount of influencers posted. Does it equal 10%??
The kissing both idea is cute, but it just sounds suspicious that it had elf splattered all over it unplanned.
Mikayla spent months hyping this wedding up, of course people were gonna talk about it.
Mikayla saying her wedding was not sponsored is the same as jacklyn hill saying she is the owner of jacklyn hill brand. One day it will all come out
No one is going to believe her..
I haven’t seen milkalyla on my TikTok but thank god I haven’t🤣 she’s just other 🤡 on the internet. It’s So sad but it’s the truth

"No I wasn't sponsored, I just collabed a little with e.l.f. and they just happened to pay me a boatload of money for that teeny tiny little inconsequential collab." Millionaires can cry me river... go and use 100s as tissue.

this girl is smart, the more she lies , the more controversial she has the more she gets attention and followers. If it wasn't for all of this i wouldn't know about her . People dont like her but sure they like to give her attention
She made her bed as a liar and doesn't want to lay in it, you can't get mad when people don't believe what you say anymore or think of you as a good person

“I knew I wasn’t going to do my hair and makeup for my wedding.”
Sorry but wasn’t her whole thing testing out different products to find her perfect line up for her wedding makeup? That’s how she blew up and lot of why she received products from brands were because they were hoping she’d choose their products for her wedding day. But then she just hired a makeup artist to do her makeup using their own products? So was she just baiting people if she knew she was never going to do her own makeup from the start?
Dang, I didn't even think about that. Very true.
Finding your lipstick look doesn't mean you're doing your own makeup. The reach miserable people do is astounding. Go outside and touch grass.
Didn’t she say in one of her videos that she was going to do her makeup for the wedding?
If her lips are moving, she's lying. It's just that simple. Everything is a grift with her.
A makeup artist can use products that you like/prefer. It doesn't always have to be theirs.
Also, she invited James Charles which you all known HAD and ADMITTED to grooming underage men!
Nah man, they’re boys. He groomed children.
I’ll never understand who finds her voice pleasing enough to listen to her videos😖😖😖😖
