When he said why does the world get to experience and enjoy laughter more than the church. This is so right and made me think about all the other things God created for the church and Christians but the world has taken it over and twisted it. For example, marriage, sex, music, relationships, and so many other things the world has taken and twisted and its hurting all people Christian or not. I feel like Pastor Mike Todd is trying to take back all the good things God has given to the world and re-present for God's glory. I'm thankful that Jason is doing the same thing. Take back laughter for the Kingdom.
Laughter is the best medicine anyone could ever have. Especially today's world. As long as it's clean and people can laugh with you and not just at you . Thank you for this episode. God bless you Candace and Jason
Jason's realest prayer is so spot on. I do the same thing when I'm doing wrong and don't know how to stop. I ask Jesus to take away desires associated with my flesh my human experience.
Hey Candace!
Jason reminds me of Mr. T. Please keep praying for me. My birthday is February 24th. Keep praying for my trust factor and about being hurt in the past by other Christians and my health issues. Sometimes I feel I'm missing out on my life. I appreciate all your support and friendship. Thanks for being my sister and buddy in God. I hope you will let me know you are in continuing prayer for me. God bless all of you.
I think when you were talking about the “Abby” question at the end and you mentioned the eb and flow of those years. It prompted a scripture. Forgive me that I don’t remember exactly in the Gospels where it is, but I believe Jesus was talking to Peter. To paraphrase: “You will go astray for a while to be tested, but when you return, go and serve me and tell the world what I have done for you.”
I am reminded that the Lord shows us compassion, not just so we can keep it to ourselves, but that we would also share what He has freely given us. Thank you for the reminder. Looking through the rearview mirror I know I am ready to learn again when I hear a sermon, and, instead of side-eyeing a brother or sister and thinking that this message is for them, I see that the message is for me. Thank you Lord for never letting go of me.
Laughter is the best medicine and I agree with that
Love my comedy buddy Jason Earls! Thanks for having him on. Great interview.
I loved hearing this episode and J E1! This is so important- to be honest, to represent God correctly. God had a sense of humor, and it is seen throughout the Bible. And He tells us to have joy. So glad to hear your personal examples also! Thanks to you both!
This was so awesome! I love to laugh as well!
I really hope you get Alisa Childers on here. She would be an awesome interview!
I remember Terry saying something like
"You go do that comedy, Jason.." you two are such an amazing example of Christ like covenant marriage
This was so good. I love what you said Candace about being able to be honest about things and have real conversations. I also love what you said Jason about the church needing to experience more laughter. 😊❤
Can’t wait to watch your sets Jason! ❤
Loved so many things about this episode. You both were smiling, laughing, and connection in faith. Uplifted in faith and will continue to watch all your episodes.

“That’s the first time in my life I made straight A’s” 🤣😂🤣

I loved this episode!
Delightful!!!
Always so excited for a new podcast episode every week! Loved todays show ❤
I call myself "the girl with the withered hand" because of years of brain damage (tumors, brain infection, seizures and radiation), so the withered hand part was truly hilarious (not bein ironic--it was!)!
Oh my heart, you have been through so much 😢 I've been through one thing after another of pain, loss, constant struggle... But I read your comment and it humbled me greatly. Your pain and loss is much greater, yet wow, you are so full of hope and strength. I'll be praying for you sister in Christ! God will bring you through it all, stay close to Him 🙏🩷
@@jenniferkline9702 Thank you, sweet friend ❤️❤️
One of mine is adopted and the others aren’t so I can’t do that one about choosing my husband so I love him more. 😬😅
I enjoyed this podcast ❤
🙏❤
I, low-key, thought this was Brandon Tatum until I saw his name.
I am so that person at a comedy show too. If you’re vulgar or irreverent towards God in your “comedy” my face will show my dislike lol. I went to a show in Birmingham a few years back and at the end my friends family member was like “you really didn’t like that did you?” I was like no. I didn’t think it was funny at all.
if ur not communicateing with Spirits Angels & encountering JESUS ur not doing anything
Another GREAT episode + laughter is such a good and perfect gift from the Lord. 🩵🩵🩵🦋🌸🌼🌺🌷💐🌞🌻
