I suffer from severe addiction to benzos and alochol because of my crippling anxiety and depression problem, he released "Stoop lights" in 2017 when i was in a psyche ward and then released the album while i was still in the psyche ward after a suicide attempt. I actually uploaded "Haze of interference" on my channel while i was still in the psyche ward because i had access to a laptop and i had my phone attached to it so i could connect to the internet, i listened to the album every single day until i got out, it's actually the most viewed version of the song on youtube. I still to listened to "stoop lights" when I was on pills or drunk or in a horrible state of depression or anxiety, just to know that my idol goes through the same things I do. I owe this dude my life. But I'm currently doing through detox and then going to rehab in a few months.

my appeal to ugly mane is that yes, it's obvious that a lot of his stuff is exaggerated, but the clearness with which he talks about it and how naturally the language comes to him shows me that either 1. he's at least a little bit about that life (I mean he is from Richmond) or 2. he's hip enough to the culture to portray it in a non-corny fashion when he's exaggerating
