As a Kiwi (a New Zealander), it is so pleasing to see
overseas hunters come over here and enjoy our country.
Your shot on the Tahr was one of the best I have seen
well done. As a hunter myself I'm also interested in
what the rifle and ammo is being used?
You also did a great job on documenting and presenting
you time here with us, thank you so much for sharing
    your experience.
    Happy hunting.

@richardt.4224 kiwis are my favourite people! Your country is incredible 😍
The rifle is Tony's, I will ask him and get back to you! 😅

      Hi Holly,
Thank you for the reply, but after I wrote after watch the video,
I started to watch others you have done. I think Tony's rifle is a 300PRC.
I'm not a true Kiwi, but I have held NZ citizenship since 1998 (been here 34 Yrs).
I have represented NZ for seven years in shooting (ML clay target).
I also lived in Australia for 5Yrs and shot for them too.
In honesty, I'm as English as they come lol.
I hunted with muzzle loading rifles for seven years, but at 65, I went modern.
At 70, I'm still hunting, but try to drive in more these days as the legs are not quite the same lol.

      @richardt.4224 Wow still hunting at 70 that's awesome 👏👏
Yes you're right Tony's rifle is a 300PRC. These are the specs CA 300PRC in XLR Element Magnesium Carbon chassis with NF 2.5-20x50 scope, ammo is 212gr Hornady EDLX

Great job Holly, I really like the format you are doing with your vids. Video content of the amazing area and hunting mixed in with your commentary and feelings about the trip.
    Hats off to you.
Been an amazing couple of years for you guys. Huge change in your lives.
When you and Tony come and get the hide from Lachie you should pop in for a coffee. I’m just around the corner from him.

It's a really good tent, super easy to put up and withstood the elements. We were very cosy at night.
