When we raced them there was a fork modification, different shock, they upped the revs to 'dangerous' - keep you hand on the clutch revs, and a handlebar kit.
They were supposed to be Renthal but to be honest, they were just too wide and too straight for me - so I got some Aprila Tuono bars, much better for me and my riding style, I could actually move about on the bike and it handled better.
The race bikes came with a prep kit from Harris, it had the Renthal bars in with other bits and fitments. I used the risers in the 'race kit' so unfortunately don't know whether that's the same as standard fitment or not.
Congrats Mike--thanks for sharing the ride! Feel like I was there. Love the XR1200!
You never cease to amaze me Mike!..f ing brilliant ..I don't know how I missed this one
This looks so much fun!!!
Thx for sharing. Great warm up laps
Thank you Mike I love your video
Awesome Mike !
You're reeling them in like fish on a hook :), ANd they are not taking it slow this time.
Thanks for uploading.
They could make a "bit" more sound for my liking....
I agree, however when 30 of them blasted off the line it sounded like a squadron on Lancaster bombers taking off, nothing quite like it....
very nice vid!

Man, that looks like fun! I'm glad to see fast Harleys.
How heavily modified are these XRs?
Not an expert but there was a race kit. Pipes, electronics ,17 inch front, steering damper and maybe rear sets. Not much really. Braided lines too?

Please could you tell me which bars where on your XR1200
