I noticed many chicken tender or nuggets dishes use Parmesan cheese, but what does role does it do? I like to skip adding cheese in general instead I prefer using nutritional yeast. Are those play same role in making awesome chicken tender? thank you
@@LowCarbYumPage I tried your way. Dipping in oil, then coating with flour was easier than using egg. Coconut flour was crunchy enough with this receip. ty
Just made this , all I can say is . It’s looks amazing when it comes out of the oven . It’s juicy and tender . But...... the coating is horrible . It falls off , it’s powdery . It becomes so intense that it over powers the chicken . Bad idea , really bad idea
I've been trying to get the descriptions for the videos fixed. But there is a link to the printable recipe in each video text area. The link for this video is here: lowcarbyum.com/gluten-free-co...
I made this using an Air Fryer too, you can check details at the post. If you will use a stovetop, you might need to use a deep fryer but the recipe was kitchen tested using the methods I mentioned at the post.
If you're dairy free like me you can use shredded coconut flakes instead of parmesan

It's just for taste so nutritional yeast is a great dairy-free option!
Hi! Will this work for whole pieces of chicken? Like drumsticks?
It should. The cooking time will just be different.
Its says to use egg in the recipe but you used olive oil in the video. Is there much difference or is one better than the other?
Wow. I thought coconut flour is too soft to make chicken nuggets.
My wife failed miserably. We started using corn starch, but corn is grain & GMO.
I spray them with olive oil before baking. Dipping in egg helps too. But the coating is softer than almond flour based ones.

I’m sorry to read that you’re not a fan of the coating. What brand of coconut flour did you use?
I figured
Is it too hard to put amounts of each ingredient, what temperature to set the oven at, etc? Sure would help us novices.

there is no amounts just pictures it would be easier if amt were provided instead of look at the pic and guess!! 🤦🏻♀️
Is it okay to exclude the grated parmesean from the recipe?
Yes. The cheese can be left out or replaced with nutritional yeast for a "cheesy" flavor without dairy.
@@LowCarbYumPage thanks!
Can I fry instead of bake ?

Coconut flour sucks for air frying or deep frying. Its better used for baking.
Needs more seasoning
You may always adjust a recipe you see online or in cookbooks, according to your preference 😉
Okay, then dip it in ketchup...
