Are these faster than the Venus and Para? Great review. Thanks. Glad you are doing higher end cans.
Keith! Thanks for posting this video
after seeing the price. it's a shocker
I’m loving the Para. I will try these at some point…unless something nicer comes along…
I bet these sound awesome, but I have sticker shock from the price 😱
Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day.
Why are there no other reviews on these on youtube... They are available right?
It's not popular. And if you read forums, Moondrop qc is very iffy. Not sure if I'd want to ship them all the way back to China for warranty. Hence, less people wanting to buy them.
Thanks for posting this video
m500 mk3?
🔥
I have the Audeze Maxwell, which is also a planar driver, and they are good. Also, they are gaming headset
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I wonder if 899 is worth for gaming on Battlefield / CoD / THE FINALS (With the Amp of course)
nah, half the price , hifiman xs, sundara, moondrop para, audio technica R70x, will all do the same thing pretty much
@kenneyt9 I actually bought the Phillips SHP9600 and they are solid for gaming, budget friendly too.
@@TTV_Vela600 Good choice. Games rarely leverage the benefits of crazy high fidelity cans. You'll only see a real difference with headphones that are legitimately known to have a larger than usual soundstage and imaging accuracy. The HD800s, and the HE-1000 series are the poster children of over the top gaming headphones but are expensive themselves, and expensive to drive fully. To this day, I still swear by the SHP9500s/SHP9600s for budget gamers.
that pricing put it in HEK territory, doubt it can win this fight
He1000 is like twice the price of this, what? Lol
@@PantsaBear he1000 stealth 1150$ refurb how that is twice the price? yes its twice the performance thats for sure
@@soulfulfool That's refurbished bro 💀
@@randomchannel323 so what? condition like new with warranty? one must be stupid to care refurb or new all the same
As always!! thank you for sharing!!
I saw the Planar and click instantly! I think using Planar is the future
I don't. 🤔
not many people can tune them right, I still prefer dynamic driver sound
Hahaha that price
I didn't know that this style of headphones were still being made !!! And were originally for high fidelity with good output for input and used for sound and audio production studios for back then!! For technical and not for looks !!! This was used alot for sitting at soundboard with a mixer !!!
Do these headphones sound better than the popular wireless headphones like Apple, Sony, and Bose?
Yes, and it's not even close. But you also need an amp to drive them
Big time, no competition. These are reference grade headphones while their wireless headphones are consumer grade. It's legitimately night and day. Sony does have their own reference grade series with the MDR-Z1R being their flagship. Especially from modern planars like the cosmo. It is another level of clarity, separation, dynamic range, and soundstage.
GM ☕️ from Toronto.
I’m still in awe of their IEM’s ..especially the Variations…a headphone from ANY manufacturer will have a lot to do to catch up…BUT these look very interesting….oh, as fir headphones…I run the LCDX 21 😎
