My wife tried to ride my modded yamaha raptor 770cc with a plus 3mm intake valves and plus 2mm exhaust valves with many extras.... she blimped the throttle going at 45mph or so.... front tires came off the ground and pulled her back out of place.....great videos keep em coming. Yes, i need to find something wife friendly..... with the 22" inch tires out Back and 23x7 up front plus the tallest gearing i could find. Yes, my atv still hits the rev limiter on top just fine. Hopefully something like that, even though is very heavy..... I'm sure she would enjoy it. Maybe even the renegade 1000cc. Because she is a very beautiful lebanese Christian woman..... a little spicy and exotic....😉

Sucks they toned down the aggressiveness for the new platform. I noticed in the release videos for the XMR in the mud they look almost lethargic (similar to a sportsman high lifter). As a mud rider and canam guy I feel like the aggressiveness has always been what pushed me towards canam. That aggressiveness almost makes the bike feel light and nimble more nimble than the competition. Will be interested to see what they feel like now once I get my hands on one.

It's a badass ride for sure. My only complaint is how everyone praises it for being so easy to ride in sport mode. That screams "3 eco modes" to me. Or "it has 100 HP but it feels like 60". That really defeats the purpose of having 3 power modes. Work mode should be the one that's easily manageable. If you have 100 HP to work with, then sport mode should make your arms sore from holding on

@@braydenlewis7438 snow robs a lot more power than hard pack dirt. Snow also offers a lot less grip. And sleds make all their power on the top end. Sleds have a lot higher top speed too, which takes away more on the bottom end. You're comparing apples to carrots here

I have a Sportsman XP1000 I modified it to about 100 hp and stripped down to in the 700 lbs range and it down right insane.
Sounds like a Dragster with the RJWC.
Even one of my neighbors said it sounded good.
I don't know what to call it because there is no part of the Sportsman body on it anymore not even gauge pod has been removed.

    • @muddybadgers5205
      @muddybadgers5205 Месяц назад +1

@@adampeterson8359 that's the whole point in having different modes. If you make them all soft, you defeat the purpose. If you don't like sport mode, then don't use it. There's two softer modes. That's the whole point

How is no one talking about the insane weight these are becoming for a single person ATV?. My G1 Renegade was 71hp and about 610lbs. My 18' Outlander xxc is 89hp and 820ish lbs. Now this thing is 101hp and 940+lbs. Rule of thumb is 10hp=100lbs. Not to mention the tire contact patch is the same as a previous gen. 10hp isn't going to make up all the weight. Plus how is the chassis 30% lighter but it gained so much?

Its about time they fixed the shifter , diff noise , clutch noise .
    The machine looks Sharp
The gen 2 650 ,850 and 1000 have side plates in behind the front shocks to protect the rad and other components from flying debris.
The gen 2 570 did not have them but you could bolt them in as the holes are there .
I think its very important to add them on or offer as an add on .
Its interesting to me that I'm not seeing any 2025 polaris 850/1000 test rides since this machine hit the information highway.
Cf moto is really making these companies come to the table ready to play but .....cf moto is no stranger to recalls and quiet issues .
Time will tell if can am gen 3s have bugs to work out and those will get found by the fools that rush in .
Ive been one of those fools
    2004 outlander 400 and 2019 Suzuki 750 kingquad .
As for the tires they will be switched out for 27 or 28 soon enough.
Can am and other manufacturers could take a page out of cf motos book and start ordering and installing the 28 liter fuel tanks so we dont have to take up storage real estate to carry extra fuel .
My cf moto 1000 overland can go 220 km
(Chatsworth to Orangeville and back on the rail bed ) on a tank of fuel , my 2015 can am outlander 1000 would only get 94 km 😂
Great narration , great over view of what looks like to be a nice machine. Great video
    Thanks for your time

Our 500 outlander is definitely not punchy but it’s a smooth quiet super nice machine .
I do hope they didn’t take away ALL the low end hammer punch that my 2023 1000R XT has.
Even though , the noises especially the rear diff whine whir drives me crazy. So I could prolly compromise and lose the low end hit for the much better fit and finish .
I’m interested in seeing a drag race . I’m willing to bet the gen 2 91 hp will actually jump ahead very initially to around 20-30mph and quickly be overtaken and passed around 40-50mph and the PDrive 25 will ease away . I’m guessing top speed will be around 81-84 mph.

Huge improvements over my 2021 XTP 1000R Max. Love the new storage front / rear. For $17K it should have 2 keys. My '21 only came with 1 key. Two of the key reasons I recently sold my unit was the intense heat on my legs and the seating position for my legs over a wide mid section was very uncomfortable. I'm tall and still found it uncomfortable. Not a fan of all the electronics. Prefer the Honda Rubicon approach - basic and reliable .... but that isn't gonna happen. Cars, trucks, UTV, ATV, computers, drones, phones - it all is getting more complicated and expensive to repair. I continue to be concerned about Can-Am reliability - this is my #1 reason why I won't buy a Polaris. With this much power, I'd be curious to hear if riders begin smoking belts. Overall, I'd consider one again (would look for a Limited model this time) despite features that aggravate.

I beleive the 850 doesn’t have the sway bar found on the 1000 either ☹. It’s too bad the fuel tank has shrunk for 2025. I would rather have more fuel capacity than all the new storage. I have my Scrambler XP1000 S modified just right and a normal ATV can't go where I can .
Can Am or anyone else don't have anything close to the
    Scrambler XP1000 S .
I have a friend that Back in 2020 canceled a order on a Renegade 1000 to get a
    2020 Scrambler XP1000 S and I have it now and he got a new 2023 Scrambler XP1000 S .
He is really a Can Am guys and said that he would get a Can Am if they make something like the
    Scrambler XP1000 S.

@@crazyflyboy30 The Can Am starts off way better stock, remember the Can Am can also be made wider and faster. Look at all the different off road ATV racing in the world, it’s totally dominated by Can-Am.

@@firstoutlander check out my Scrambler XP1000 S and the new
      DARK KNIGHT
      on Polaris ATV Forum.
      The DARK KNIGHT
is a stripped down Sportsman XP1000 with Carbon Fiber body that weighs in at
750 dry/ 790 wet and 110 HP tuning when done.
      Gear reduction
      Custom clutch work
      Air box modified
      RJWC exhaust
I got to test it yesterday and it was terrifying and it pulled the hanlebar out of my son in law hands.
He said that it was scary as hell
      but fun as hell.
We don't know what to expect on asphalt.
The gear reduction and custom clutch work makes the big difference now because I don't have the Dynojet HP tuning in right now because I want to get a before and after.

The engineer who designed the radiator is an idiot. Had to pull 2 570 out of the woods due to clogged radiator. Tilted rad with no side covers is absolutely ignorant. Dirt and dust gets on there and just lays. If nothing else the rad should be straight up and down.

I dislike this walk around only videos. Pull the panels off and show us the engine. Show some examples of the clutches. Sad it's 2024 and it all left up to our imagination at this point. Disappointing.
