Does show out mean didn't play that well?
From what i saw,he only scored 2 baskets and missed a free throw?

Not everything a player does appears on the stat sheet. Scoring two baskets in a scrimmage game is impressive, especially considering he is sharing the floor with other NBA players. Cooper Flagg, a 17-year-old who has never played an NBA game, but looks right at home against future Hall of Famers.

@@EliteScholarsBasketball yeah, but plenty of team select/college,or rookie teams have played better than team USA in scrimmage games before the Olympics in the past.

He had at least 12 points in this game, and about the same in the other 2 scrimmages they played. He was also voted the best player on the select team by his teammates.

They only allowed the media in for a portion of the game and that's what we saw. Reportedly Flagg scored around 14 points but no one was keeping track.

Shows out is overstating. His outside shot needs more consistency. But very ball handling while contested for his size.

@@georgearmour5259 Basketball is a contact sport, that is the definition of physical. there is not some magical air barrier around you. You can hand check, you can do all sorts of things. it depends on what the refs are calling to how physical it will get.
