@@debbieswim3148Susan thinks she's going to be mother of year, but she is nowhere near of being that. She knows nothing about her own kids. When the world changes, she can't adapt to change.
The problem with Susan is that she has no idea what's doing. She failed to see that Greg is just a kid and being a principal was too much for him to handle. Greg doesn't know anything about managing a school. The real reason why Mr. Bottoms did the principal of the day to avoid responsibilities and can't handle the pressure. All Susan did was make things worse and wasted her money for nothing. Susan is too blinded to see her own flaws. Greg was never interested in being a school principal. This was one of her crazy stupid plans go horrible wrong. I forgot that Mr. Bottoms really conned Susan out of her money.
That's a pretty cool and interesting theory. I would love a book or maybe a video series from Jeff Kinney, where he goes over these theories, or he could do an what if series.
So we got a list of Susan’s flaws 1- She screws Greg a lot and is a bad mother overall 2- She wants to live through Greg with this book shows that she won the principal of the day so that Greg maybe fix his middle school with Greg not being ready for. 3- She plays favorites a lot like letting Manny the best get away with everything which no shock why the internet hates Manny
Imagine if Greg is just lying about his life after the ugly truth, lying about his life in middle school, and not revealing hes in the hell of high school in some books, and the bore of college in some books. He’s Mabye lying so he could make himself look cool and always go into wacky adventures in middle school, when in the present,he has a boring life((of course all of this can be wrong))
One of the secondary characters in the Captain Underpants Netflix series is a very sweaty boy who can grow vegetables in his armpits. This is just as ludicrous as a girl who can sharpen pencils with her ears, but such stuff fits much better in the Captain Underpants universe than in the Wimpy Kid universe.
I will have to disagree because Dav Pilky and Jeff Kinney are not the same person so they have different views and opinions on what books should be about that’s why they have different perspectives and seiries don’t get me wrong I understand where you’re coming from but I backed up my opinion with facts so…
The most goofy thing about Greg’s mom isn’t how she wants to live her life through Greg, It’s that it’s one of the most common stereotypes out there, man. She’s a bad mom for that ngl
For everything pre-LH, she was a decent, but well meaning mom. Starting from that book an onwards, she along with numerous other characters got flanderized beyond relief; the adults in the series being the most notable examples.
I just think she's trying to live through her child and force Greg into a teachers career which was her ex career
that is true
I forgot to mention that Mr. Bottoms really conned Susan out of her money.

Susan reminds me very much of Peggy Hill from king of the hill. They both have a lot of the same flaws.

Goodbye internet.
"Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets" is a much funnier book that ends with the protagonist becoming principal for the day.
Chad-tain Underpants > Diary of a Wimpy Virgin
"Attack Of The Talking Toilets" oh the irony
protagonists*
yeah I’d think so since no brainier fell off so bad
That’s the first book
In one day Greg was forced to make major decisions and sign thousand dollar checks? Who tf let him do this?
His mom

Pretty valid
I kinda agree
Did you know the school shutting down was forshadowed in wrecking ball when the school lost its funding
I would be stressing too if my mom ever became principal for the day.
Not really that crazy of a theory, but yeah the more you look it just kind of makes sense. Good job

Recap
Greg’s mom wanted the students to get into good schools
Susan is the true hero in no brainer
Yes
Susan actually being a good mom for once:
Naw she’s basically putting the responsibility of an entire school on this kid💀
For everything pre-LH, she was a decent, but well meaning mom. Starting from that book an onwards, she along with numerous other characters got flanderized beyond relief; the adults in the series being the most notable examples.
Yeah one time manny almost freezed/starved his family to death because nobody taught him ‘how to tie his shoes’ and the mom believed it
