Kanata's grip is actually alot more scarier the it first look. If you look carefully she's actually squishing the ball with two finger with her thumb and ring finger holding the bottom.
Kanata might throw a ghost forkball with that grip!

Honestly this makes me wanna see a Hololive baseball game where they straight up use weird and wacky powers to pull of ridiculous bat swings and ball throws or running from base to base. Like when they activate their special it's a little animation like Korone 'OAYOOOO'ing the ball into orbit -- or into the stands and knocking out a Koronesuki. Or Ayame pulling some multi-slash dual-wielding with the bats.
