The Bible is for the home, learning science, math, literature, etc., is for school.
Stop trying to invade everybody else’s space.
what are you talking about? Does the school experience not also belong to the kids who want to learn about the bible? WHy is it "everybody else's space" and not theirs?
RE is still taught in primary school. It's not compulsory, nor is it daily.
Religion in public schools makes it really hard for people of other religions and culture to feel like they belong. It's important to create an inclusive environment for all students. If you want to put up a Bible study poster on the bulletin board fine, but don't take up precious class time with religious rhetoric, our kids already falling behind.
This guy is advocating for opt in classes. Nobody's class time is being taken from them.
@jdavidteem just read the Bible at home and let the kids have the opportunity to learn basic knowledge at school. That way they can coexist with students of other religions.

@jdavidteem just imagine if the public school system was doing this for Islam, Judaism, Atheism, or Satanism. Those are religions too, and very common ones too in the US. It's just not fair to let Christianity in and nobody else. Plus Christians have more money and an aggressive agenda. Also I personally think Christian youth groups led by young adults and unexperiemced parents are a hotbed for sexual assault just based on what I have seen in my own experience, amd it often goes unreported because of stigma and sham. It's just easier, safer, and more fair to keep religious teachings in the hands of parents and churches etc.
Like religion and government, you should be kept separate from society.

This is the me syndrome! if you have something you believe you try and push it on others and ignore what others believe.
School and church should 100% be seperate. Do we forget about the dark ages? We dont need that again.
Guess what before 1960 The ten Commandments was in all the schools. We had no teenage violence in our Country your teenage pregnancy. Teenagers had respect for their elders and their parents. Then in the 1960s the Supreme Court ruled the ten Commandments in our schools unconstitutional and had them took out.
In Australia, religious education is still taught in primary school. It's not compulsory, nor is it daily.
Since God is every where no use to move the children any where this us America .last time I looked 😮

The law doesn’t forbid teaching Bible in public schools. It forbids religious proselytizing in public schools.

In Europe totally common thing kids nnparents signs bible class or ethics 1 a week or so
I Have had This on my heart for Quite some Time now! I would love to teach are wonderful students about The most important book We have had in history! Im a believer and I don’t think you should be allowed to do this. Yahuah chooses His children and He teaches them and leads them.
