Taeyang has one of the most stable live vocals in kpop industry. His voice didn't crack even after that dancing, tumbling around and even he slipped on the stage during MAMA awards. You can clearly his voice stability.

I saw him live... what you say is true. I was amazed. His voice was so stable that I wondered half the time if he was really singing bc it was so clean. He had a live band backing his concert set so it was def live. It was amazing.

Yeah he helped little with writing. It was basically teddy's brilliant song writing skills and I believe it was for his then break up with his gf. Taeyang dint know min hyorin at the time of this shoot, so yeah

Fantastic duo was basically a singing show where in every episode famous Korean singers compete who would become the fantastic duo with a "fan". So non-famous people sent audition vids through and app and then the best ones were picked from those videos and then three people were chosen to appear in the episode to compete to be the famous singers "fantastic duo" partner. So at first in the episode the three normal people compete who gets to sing the duet with the famous singer. Then the famous singer chooses who he/she wants to do the final duet with. After that the audience votes how good their duet was.
You guys should also react to Ailee's fantastic duo 1:3 round "I will show you" and final round duet "heaven" and Kim bum soo and Kim da mi's "I miss you" duet!!

The show idea is an artist is announced to be the next guest and fans apply to sing duet with them by sending a vid of them singing the song and when the artist come to the show they give him/her the choice to choose whoever they want to sing with they are usually 5 to 4 chosen to come to the program and then the artist sings the song with them all and finally make the decision of which one he wants to sing a duo with!
Next, Taeyang ft Tablo Eyes Nose Lips. Tablo is really lyrical genius
There’s a RUclips video in Spanish that she won the 1st round of contest and then she and Taeyang practice for 30 minutes with the arrangement. She is a fan of Taeyang and the platform of the program is you will sing with your idol. You and your idol will battle with other idols and fans. They won 2nd place only but truly deserve to be 1st place. Her name is Lee Seo Jin. She then joined different singing contest which I’d also shown on RUclips.
This show 'Fantastic Duo' is one of my favorite korean shows
it takes Korean Entertainers (Idols, Rappers, SIngers, or entertainers and actors that are good at singing) and a random person and make them sing a duet
the 'random person' really isnt random but in a way yes
the person sends an application to the show but they never know when they will get on the show ALSO the singer watches their application video and pics their duet partner

this is one of those duets wherein no matter how many covers were made, this just doesn't get old.
I was sooo amazed when this was released.. like, even if they rehearsed, it should not be like this. There are other artist who were also on this show and they never had a moment like this.. its the best collab on this show..

Its actually a show for fans/all walk of lives. They will submit a vid singing for a particular singer/idols(solo/groups). The singer/idols will choose who will go to the next round until (w/c the singer will be the one to choose)until one will remain to sing with the singer/idol,then battle another duo.
The final stage is rehearse for 2 to 3 hrs. I think.
You should also react to his Darling performance on the same show, fantastic duo. That was epic.
It's been years since this video is uploaded and it is still glowing gold. Taeyang and Rhythm Gangster really made a whole new version of the song. Hands down to them!

The unbelievable thing about this is she didn’t win that episode, the person that won was even more impressive I used to love that show!! Everyone was so incredibly talented. In one of the episodes the fan was Kyuhyun from superjunior he auditioned to sing with a huge senior in the industry it was magical.
YES!!! That SBS version has Spanish subtitles of the song. From what I gather, there are about 5 fans that compete before and the judges (maybe the audience too) will pick the fan winner who gets to sing with Taeyang. It seems there is a harmonized duet version already prior to this show so all the fan contestants know the harmonies. Even the hosts were singing harmonies with him on the outro of the show.
This was one of the best duos, an idol with his fan singing his written song...🤩

I read that Taeyang's 2 appearances on this tv show were the highest watched in the series. This particular episode is the top of all Fantastic Duo duets. Taeyang's 2nd time was when he was promoting his album White Night. You should check out that one too bec. the 3 contestants he picked were oh so good esp. the French girl singing in Korean. I was blown away by this too when it first came out. I watched that episode because I am Taeyang’s fan. I know how good he is but this was just beyond my expectations. I always want a lot more people to watch this performance.
