I’m a native, grew up in Phoenix and I can tell you EVERYONE gets that excited when we see the wild horses. Visitor, local, and even natives. It never gets old!!
Really happy that you turned the money in. I found $120 outside of my work when i was a kid and turned it in to the manager. After a month and nobody claimed, it was handed back to me and I bought the staff lunch with it. it was the best feeling ever and i feel good about it 40 years later. You won't regret it!
I used to work for a parks department while I was in college, a little kid found $100 bill on the ground and brought it to me while I was working. I talked to the kids parents and told them if nobody claimed it by the end of the week I would get it back to them. They gave me their contact info and after a few days nobody claimed the money so I was able to give the money back to the kid. The best part was the kid needed new soccer cleats and his parents were struggling to come up with the money for them.
Welcome to our home state of Arizona, You've hit the best.. We love floating the salt river and the Botanical Gardens. We also have an amazing zoo and best of the best we're 2.5 hours from Sedona. Our restaurants in the valley are amazing and diverse, you can enjoy amazing Asian to flavors of Mexico and every other country in the world. BUT the most important thing to remember when visiting the southwest is WATER, humans are 6-% water, desert dehydration is sneaky because it isn't wet sweating like the southeast, it's dry and you can turn around and be dehydrated and your bodies systems really suffer. Never leave anywhere without a bottle of water and keep drinking 2x more than you usually do ENJOY Travel Safe.
You guys are so hilarious and authentic! Some of my favorite scenes from your videos are like when you were kayaking and singing joking with each other😂 Amazing cacti too, wow!! Thanks for sharing your trip 🫶🏻🌵
There’s absolutely no way through RUclips to judge if someone is authentic or not. You’ve never interacted with them in person. On top of that, you’re only seeing what they want you to see. Don’t be so naive.
The savory taco was delicious, but we're still dreaming about the cinnamon+sugar one. So good! And Phoenix was tons of fun. Although maybe visit in the spring/fall 😅
The Botanical Garden looked very beautiful. I agree to check it out a night to beat the heat. Also great timing to see the Horses 🐎 on your Kayak trip.
I’m surprised y’all didn’t visit Platform 18 at Century Grand. It’s a speakeasy type bar that looks like you’re inside a train. Seems right up your alley. It’s in the heart of Phoenix too.
You did more in Phx than I’ve done in the 30 years I’ve lived there. Wow! Thanks for being foodies because I love living and eating vicariously through your adventures.
Allison is my favorite You Tube of all time, she is so bubbly and funny! Eric you're pretty good too! I love watching you guys and I have watched every video of yours since the beginning of the pandemic. I had no idea you could go kayaking in Phoenix, awesome!
You should visit southern Arizona - cooler and great hiking trails in the Huachuca Mountains. The home of Tombstone and Bisbee (the Queen Mine Tour is a must!). The Bisbee Mining Museum is award winning. Come on and visit us!!!
Welcome to Phoenix!! We live in Cave Creek and it is crazy hot right now and just getting hotter. We call it stupid spicy season!!! Thanks for showing me some cool places to go visit.
Allison, I've been watching this channel for years and always love how you eat those classic bad foods, yet still look realistically thin and toned. It really shows in this video! I know you have mentioned a workout routine, but I'd love to hear a more dedicated segment about what exactly you've been doing to pull off this feat. I used to travel full-time, sit/ drive a campervan for hours, try local foods, and jog every day, but I never looked remotely this good. I bet a lot of other women would find your routine inspiring too!
@@denisemdb60 I could see an additional RUclips channel for Allison; maybe something on the subject of comfortable, cute, and cost conscious clothing? Any other ideas?
I left Phoenix in 2007, I actually loved it there. Temp of asphalt... I was so stupid it took me to burn my feet 3 times to learn better, and I was just walking down the drive to the mail box. My favorite thing about Phoenix, no matter what the time, day or night there was always something to do. Dóó ni'áásh

Wow the memorys. Our RV 30 years ago. Had same heat problems. But there was 6 of us. First thing was paint roof white. Then we finally got a generator to run going down toad to power RV AC unit. And 2pm to 5 in heat was to park under shade tree. Have fun. Brings back good memories. Thanks 👍🙏.
Smart to get out and onto the river before 6am and they are not lying, it is beautiful scenery up there and it's just a 30 minute drive northeast of the city. Stinkweeds is the best old skool record shop, so awesome you stopped by there! The Valley really does have the best food and entertainment...Scottsdale has the best hotels, resorts and golf courses. I'm a local and frequently do staycations.
Great film. I think I could live very happily in or near Phoenix, it looks like a fantastic city and the country surrounding it is just gorgeous. The Botanical Garden by night was a great idea.
I've missed you guys! The algorithm stopped suggesting you. (As soon as you watch one kind of content, it seems to forget about almost everything else you're interested in.) Great to see you again. I always feel happy and relaxed after watching your adventures.
I am loving the energy of you two lately. Very informative video of Phoenix. Loved all the food you tried. Allison-your outfits have been so cute lately. Can't wait for the Endless Adventures into Mexico.
We visited the Desert Botanical Gardens in the middle of the day. I have never experienced heat like it my whole life. Loved it. But that heat. It was like a paint stripper heat gun!!!
I liked the Indian Fry bread with either honey drizzled over it or with powdered sugar.. My church when I lived in Phoenix would make them on one Sunday in December after service
I moved here two years ago, and all that awesomeness is spot on! Except in June, July, August, and September...you do not go outside then😂 I never thought I'd experience 120 degrees. It's truly lovely for the rest of the year, with so many things to do!
I enjoyed this video. In the 60s my family used to visit my grandparents in Scottsdale. Although I enjoyed the area, I remember in an area of Phoenix you could smell the worst possible aroma coming from the stockyards. The weird smell is not something I’ll ever forget.
I was looking forward to your Phoenix tour and you did not disappoint. I had a condo in Phoenix in the late 1990's. It looks the same except a lot hipper! And it was hot but not as hot back in the day. I loved hiking Camel Back on weekends and biking. But you topped me with the Kayaking. I'll have to rewatch to see where that was. We used to go to the Grand Canyon to cool off. Stay Cool!
Thank you for coming to Phoenix AZ. Yes right now it is HOT but not like this all year round. This is MON SOON weather until about Sept. We do get COLD HERE and have to wear coats around the last month of the year and first of the year. Most people who visit always look at negative things about the beautiful city.. ENJOY HOW WONDERFUL PHOENIX IS.
Hello Allison and Eric. Great to see yet another place I visited only briefly explored as I wish I had had time to do. Your country is just so big, I understand why some folk never get beyond the border.
Living in the Pacific Northwest its always look forward to visiting Phoenix although, I stay in the Surprise, Az. Just a side note, back in the 80s you had to take 2 cars to Salt River, leave one at bottom and drive to where you start. Arizona is ALWAYS a favorite destination
In Kanuckland the cinnamon, sugar and butter is in a oval shape and called ''Beaver Tails''. You can also get them with maple sirup, chocolate drip and whipped cream, all sort of goodies.
You guys are in my back yard. I live in Apache Junction. I think you were in that area. When you were kayaking down the salt river you were within a short bicycle ride from me.
I grew up in Phoenix, and at one time lived at 44th street and Thomas, which is a little over 4 miles to the Desert Botanical Gardens and my Favorite Place as a Kid, The Hole in the Rock and the Phoenix Zoo! During the Summers we would ride our bikes there several times a week to play on the Hole in the Rock. Back then as a kid we thought that it was a huge Mountain! When back 20 years later with my Son, I was like, what happened to the huge mountain? It shrunk 😁We hiked up and spent hours there. You get a great View of the City! So hopefully you guys stopped by and climbed it.
Hey that's my home town!!!! I shopped at that Fry's by The Aiden. You did Phoenix right! as Clementine's adventures come to a close perhaps I will see her in m new home of California. If you are anywhere near Menifee be sure to Honk!!!! Menifee is smack dab between Disneyland and Downtown San Diego and Palm springs and Laguna Beach.
Curious to see what your take on Fresno would be. You could come here on your way to Yosemite or Kings Canyon or Sequoia national parks. They’re all within a couple hours of here. You would definitely like the taco scene. I know that. We even have an annual taco truck throw down in November at the baseball stadium downtown. Art Hop is every first and third Thursday of the month. Lots of farmers markets.
We were at Valero in Sattler near Canyon Lake and saw y’all roll by. We are at the Rio Guadalupe Resort until Sunday. Would love to meet you guys if y’all are in the area!! Watch you guys all of the time!!
Phoenix looks like an American wonderland. And you two give the best commercial ever. I am excited to see what you can accomplish and publish in the next video. You are my favourite couple to watch. Have a safe trip further on.🫶😍🤜🤛
You guys are the best. Made me kinda miss my old hometown. Kinda. I mean, you're not miracle workers. Get to Tucson or Flagstaff! there's less to do, but more to see... if that makes sense. But the East Valley is pretty cool, and downtown/Central Corridor (where I used to live) is getting better. Glad you survived the heat. Scratch another state off the list! Now, get thee to Europe... or Asia... or Australia. I'll see you on the road.
Thanks for sharing this amazing journey with me Guys. Safe Travels Always. God Bless Ya'll. I Love U Mucho ❤️ 💕 💓 💗. I feel thr same after one beer 🍺 😅 😂😂😂😂😂
