I loved playing this with a friend, the two of us on the southern side of the map, and 4 brutals in the north. If I played China and defended, he'd play USA. If he played China, I loved messing around with GLA. I should really play with him again! Oh, and mad respect for this, I can beat 4 brutals tops on my own.
This is the only game made 2 decades ago that I still love to play on repeat. It's just the best real-time strategy game and I couldn't find any other game that could be better.

Good job I had a friend he used to do almost entire game with keyboard, only used mouse to choose targets on map for units, you couldn't even see his screen showing the same area for more than 2 seconds. Oppened tank factory with keyboard, built 9 of 4 different tanks, build two defensives, captured oil and flied planes on enemy would take him 5 seconds only, he was supper pro, he defeated 5 good players at once in our public game net.
My dad and his friend was playing so hard that the computers from 2005 completely what themselves and that was that. He still has the computer and upgraded it a bit before I was born. It is still a great computer to use now still running windows 7 because it's easy for my dad and the amount of games on there is so much that he had to delete some just to get the computer to run properly. Still has ZH and I still play it but get my ass kicked
I played also generals on pro level.. i was in esl on first position.. my pro army was china.. but ibg also.. just on 1vs1 is china very fast on rush and defend.. usa hit chinooks u can rush fast but if that fails u loose hole match... we was in tourney 4vs4 tourney in germany, on final match we started 4vs4 three off my mates lost his army and still i won 1vs4 :) .. i played i think in a day more then 5 hours i loved it..

That's pretty normal move against AI. I think their initial funds are like 4 times more than human players. Gotta need extra cash to defend against them
@@mhafiz8803 Yes... the Brutal AI isn't much more skillful, then the lower difficulty one... it simply has a sh*tload of money to spam you, and when he runs out, it instantly reappears again... it does about 4-5 times so, than stops and if u endured, you can defeat the enemies, since the AI has no more money!

I remember doing this same thing, 1 vs 7 brutal but it was many years ago so once all the armies really started to get big, my commuter would start to slow down and 1 match would take well over an hour. My favorite was the USA and I would setup my defense as fast as possible (patriots missiles and some bunkers) and get money drops as fast as possible, defend wile building up my army then attacking. Lots of Apaches, Humvees with mostly missile defenders and a few Auroru bombers and the level 3 A-10 strike for destroying super weapons. This was my first RTS game and even though I have l payed a lot since, this one is still my favorite.
Fun fact many people sell the command center But you need the command center when your base is under attack cause the hp is really high, plus theres enough time for you to evacuate and create dozers for a new base
Bro after supplies end I use my supply Chinook helicopter and carry 8 Humvees with grenade launchers and then I secretly deploy them inside enemy base it's Soo fuking amazing trick I won many lan matches to use this trick also surprised opponents in one lan semi final in 2017
The best game when you face only 3 opponents in the game, cause 7 will not be able to upgrade their weapons quickly and build massive armies against you, because they all share the map resources which will be very limited for them.
It’s funny how the AIs never tried to break through from the other side of entrance... still nicely play with Black Lotus! I usually just go with hackers to ensure stable cash flow and then mass overlords
lol i just found these from a friend and the tactices are very well done and epic attacking moves, my question though is why no income generation early game to mass the forces, usually people could get a good amount of income generators by 10 to 15 minutes so the rest of the game can just be force massing to win the game or spam nuclear missiles :) still epic assaults though that isnt easy to do
Mind blowing game play, but I was wondering the same thing, why not make at least 1-2 hackers before you start attacking to fund your efforts? I feel like you could have won a little faster that way, but I don’t think I’ll ever have your skill so hats off to you sir!

lol maybe your just a newbie, im not even a pro on this game but i can defeat up to 5 brutal enemies or 6 brutals with 1 brutal ally. Actually if you played hours of hours on this game you will know the movement of the AI.

I think 7 enemy made the game easier than 3 or 5. The reason is that none of them had superweapon which Hard AI usually gets it about 25+. I think they were so short on money that they could not progress.
Maybe because u play generals because zero hour is quite different and in generals sometimes there is some different in brutal AI aggressiveness , last time i did put aggresiveness to the max and its tough , like when you a play twilight map the right side of the map (you know the enemy facing opposite side i mean they will be more faster compare to the rest. this tactic would not have worked in zero-hour if the superweapon general was one of the brutal AI's because there would be at least 5 particle cannons by the time he got his attack force ready.
I have been playing this game for ten years so far.. How DID NOT the Brutal Enemies build any nuclear weapons?.. It is impossible unless you destroy all their oil rigs..Lol
zero hour has more aggressive AI in brutal just like the superweapon general and the nuke general.. but the superweapon general is more annoying....hahaha
I've done 1 vs 7 as well. As China is the easiest. My usually start on this map is to be the first to capture the oil wells in the middle that gives me a boos in money (1000 per capture + time that i hold them). Then i keep the soldiers there to force the AI to destroy them (it doesn't happen always but is worth it anyway). During this time i make the defenses closer to the entrance 3 bunkers 4 gatling cannons). Then i rush to 2 nuclear missiles, in the mean time i make hackers (usually in groups of 4 to keep easier track of them) and 2 airfields (increasing to 4 later) and i try to make sure then never get super weapons. During this time i just let them get dry (from resources) and use the airplanes to destroy them slowly but surely, defenses first then command center so they dont use their abilities. GG
I did this in Zero Hour with the Super Weapon General. The biggest Problem was to kill all their superweapons before they could fire. I needed to sacrifice some Auroras for that. After that it was easy. I don't know why your enemies aren't building superweapons. Also you should have rushed at least 2 oilrigs
I did a 7 brutal before once very a long time ago, because I'm very addicted to this game back then. I like to use China a lot because of their good defense. But it's very hard the brutal armies wont rest attacking LOL.

@@phinix250 Agree. Superweapon General AI will use Defend Tactics, while ready all of her Ion Cannon. This Tactics will not work well against her.

The troop crawler can detect stealth units.
