- Emilie Vansteenkiste was crowned Miss Belgium 2023 at the national final held on Saturday, 11th February 2023 at the Proximus Theater in De Panne. She will either represent her country at Miss World or Miss Universe or both which is yet to be announced.
Emilie Vansteenkiste bested 31 other contestants to win the national crown. She is 21 years of age and hails originally from Elewijt in Flemish Brabant. She is a Latin dancer and occupational therapy student who speaks both Dutch and French.

Absolutely gorgeous and could be a real threat if she works on her walk. Her current walk is awkward but there's so much potential! Still so much time left to train too!

Still can’t get over how Kedist was left out of the semis in 2021. She’s definitely my favorite Miss Belgium so far. Miss Universe continue to not let smaller countries shine, no wonder they are losing popularity. At least in the Trump era you’ll make the semis no matter your sash if you’re fabulous enough.
I still missed those times especially the 20th century from 1952 to 1999 when all countries are on equal foothold for the title crown unlike the 2022 cooking show happened.
Interview will tell wether she is fabulous or not she has less experience no advocacy still walking like model she can't beat Philippines and Venezuela

To be honest I really love Belgium's 🇧🇪🇧🇪 delegate this year through proper styling, training and advocacy she can placed theie country very well if the competition will not be rigged cooking show I hope they will the contest sooner or later coming from the Philippines.
