Absolutely wonderful event. My father taught me to shoot as a boy, and it was our shared past-time for almost my whole life. We lost him to dementia this past April. He loved England and loved shooting. A visit to H&H was a highlight trip 20 years ago. Perhaps there's room for a Yank to sneak in to this event, if it happens again, in Dad's honor.....
We lost mom to Lewy Body Dementia on Monday - it robbed her of her mobility and ability to communicate for the past 10 years. I have followed RAD & TGS for a few years now & after a sad week it is great to find you, the legend Sir. Jackie & your channel all together. Great shooting and all for a great cause! (p.s. - we need more videos of Sir. Jackie shooting and talking about his shooting career...)
I don’t watch TGS religiously, but now and then probably going back 5 years. It’s been interesting to observe how Johnny went from working in a gun shop, often on the repair bench, to flying around the world and hobnobbing with the rich and famous. He’s done well. You have to respect that.
Watched my mom descend into this horrible disease for 10 years. She was a loved mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. My dad stayed by her side to the end, giving up a lot of his "golden years" and he preceded her in death by three years. God bless Jackie Stewart for his noble efforts. He deserves his "Sir" title for more than just racing.
Back in 1974 at the Commonwealth Games in New Zealand, my father represented Canada in the Trapshooting event. My mother who was very accomplished in shooting administration duties, was hired and worked out of a trailer on site. The weather was very hot and the trailer had air conditioning and as it was, she was visited numerous times by Jackie Stewart and had many interesting conversations with him. She recalled him to be a very gracious gentleman and very much enjoyed his visits.
Great video and very worthy cause, dementia is very cruel and affecting more and more people. I was lucky enough to meet Jacky Stewart a few years ago at Her Late Majesty’s funeral, he had many stories to tell.
@@tgsoutdoors never would have thought of him as someone I’d see as a guest. I wonder if he ever shot with Mansell? An F1 fans dream! Amazing presentation of the film as always and very well edited to show the seriousness of Dementia and how the community can come together. Wonderful advert for the sport. Also nice touch with ending without the normal sponsors message. Increase the impact 10 fold.
A really good cause, it is also not just a disease of old age. My wife was diagnosed at 60 and 4 years on is locked in her own world. A terrible disease that robs the sufferer and their family of their loved ones in small steps.
Close to tears during video, tears flowing on reading comments Great video,i agree with comments for more on Jackie Stewart, And more on charity shoots, are they invite only,i too wouldn't be able to afford to shoot, but would like to watch
Hello brilliant video, I was wondering if you could do anymore gamekeeper videos I feel like it’s not talked about enough and I loved watching the year of the gamekeeper thank you
I noted the comment that Dementia's effect reaches far farther than the directly effected. ( my mother died after several years decline) We certainly need the 'disruptive' approach that comes from outside the medical world. well done for supporting the event (and making an enjoyable vid of it all!)
Very good. I know I'm not the target audience for charity shoots like this ( being both poor and a very poor shot ) but how do even find out about them? I only ever seem to find out afterwards, but would like to at least go and watch.
I met Sir Jackie once in the drop off zone at Heathrow airport. He was delightful and had no issue having a two or three minute chat with me. What a star. As for dementia I always thought the issue is that we are living much longer these days.

Sorry for your loss sir. We would love to have sir Jackie back on some time.

Completely agree
Jackie Stewart and Jim Clark were my boyhood heroes. Thank you for making this video.
Well done Jonny! Fantastic video and congratulations on your winning top gun...you need a new hat now!!
A true legend a lifetime inspiration for me and so many others. Thank you for this great presentation.
What a magnificient, heart-warming event by the legendary Jackie Stewart. Thanks for sharing.

My wife took me to Holland and Holland for a lesson and a meal for my 40th and after my lesson they gave me a Royal to go and shoot, bloody great day!
Thankyou for this film. Dad has vascular dementia. I love telling him about my Sunday hobby of claying.
Great video and very worthy cause, dementia is very cruel and affecting more and more people. I was lucky enough to meet Jacky Stewart a few years ago at Her Late Majesty’s funeral, he had many stories to tell.
Well done J, the more money that can be raised for this worthy cause the better..
Awesome story, thank you to all involved.
Congrats Jonny!! 🎉 Very well done video! Enjoyed it very much.
Jonny, next time I see you or the next members I will have questions about what it was like to be in the presence of that legend.
You lucky bastard.
One of the coolest experiences of the channel yet! Never thought I’d get to interview Sir Jackie!
@@tgsoutdoors never would have thought of him as someone I’d see as a guest. I wonder if he ever shot with Mansell?

Great video, great event for a great cause. Cool interview with Sir Jackie.
Probably TGS 's best video yet . 👌
Great video and congrats on the win!!!
Congratulations… that was wonderful.

What a fantastic event to attend ! Hope all the guests dug deep in to the pockets
Fantastic video content TGS 👏

Agree.
Good on you, Sir Jackie. You show your love for your lovely wife so openly and clearly. Bravo.
Great cause, highly enjoyable and informative video and congratulations to boot!
Good cause. Lost my mother a year and a half ago to dementia. The last month was so, so sad.
Loved this,so important to beat dementia well done everyone
I grew up listening to Sir Jackie Stewart's racing commentary. It must have been an honor to meet him.
A superb video this. Thank you for sharing and caring.
Awesome video Jonny!
A great man. A fantastic. Voice. As well
Great cause, Congratulations on winning a prize.👍
Hello brilliant video, I was wondering if you could do anymore gamekeeper videos I feel like it’s not talked about enough and I loved watching the year of the gamekeeper thank you
One of sports true gentlemen
So much done for the benefit of others not himself
Love it at Holland and Holland looks to have been a great event, fantastic cause.
Fantastic video really enjoyed it, congratulations to you.

Jackie Stewart and side by side, real and timelessly the best!
One of your best videos yet Jonny 👍
Fantastic video well done
Well done Johnny 😊
Another great vid mate!
Well done Jonny!!!
Sir Jackie Stewart nearly entered national clay shooting team back on his days😮
Jackie Stewart looks good at 85.

Really good point, my thoughts also
Great film Jonny, you can be my wingman anytime 😂
Congratulations on the top gun! 👍🏼
That’s the thing about charity shoots , the more experienced shooters take a lot of the targets for granted, which leads to missing the easy birds.
Great video and a great cause. So was the prize for top gun at a H&H event being allowed to keep that lovely side by side...?
I noticed you're not shooting your longthorne anymore (on camera anyway). Fell out of love with it?
A legend.

I like Jackie Stewart great driver .
I feel the cure is in the prevention. These plastics and metals in our foods are killing us! That aside, wonderful video!
How about a Members Team or Teams at the next event?
Sounds good to me
I always remember what one of my sporting clay coaches told me. Slow targets give you more time to screw it up. 😂
Does anyone remember what video Johnny talked to a man about a custom hand rubbed oil finish? He had like 300 coats I wanted to watch it again
The gun review season 1 episode one I think
Thanks!!
Refinishing a Winchester 70 stock and need all the help I can get!
👍 👍
Why bag your guns between stands? Is that a rule?
Great video .Where's the Longthorn gone!
👍
Christ , i thought he died years ago
Brilliant video Jonny , keep em coming 🤙😎👏👏👏
