That is one of those videos that you don't want it to end! The Indian has treated you well on this passage with good winds and sea state. Seems to be a good crew who Tallula enjoys. I can't imagine a passage better than this! Enjoy Madagascar!
I think this passage was the one where Delos got hit with probably one of the most gnarly storms I've ever seen. Luckily they had good chain plates and other rigging because it was absolutely crazy ! It was the Kiwi girls last sail with them !
I've been watching your channel from the beginning. I love you guys. Salt of the earth folks (pun intended). Good on ya! My wife and I live on the Pacific coast of US Garibaldi, Oregon. Not much reason to try to sail these waters.... I'm rebuilding an old boat for crabbing. Frothe Lyfe!!
Hey guys, watch your videos quit a long time and enjoy it a lot, also because we started our living on board (me: with a dog and two cats)same time, we already had contact because of this. Now I see quite for a while, that you have on your anchor setup, directly connected your swivel to the anchor. This is very dangerous, because if the chain pulls sideways, all load can be only the thread of the swivel, which is only about one millimeter strong. Best to put in 3 chain links and a shackle in front of the swivel to the anchor. Hope it helps! Good vibes and fair winds! Ralf
I'm 4th in the comments. I think you guys are so brave, never forget the feeling of seeing land disappear and sea all around when I went out on a crayboat. Always enjoy your videos and like. Very best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺
Woo hoo, from your early days in the Whitsundays now to Madagascar, you eventually made the dream come true, and on a nice comfortable safe yacht you worked tirelessly on, Happy days! Enjoy the culture, and hoist your dingy at night ( remembering Delos had a late night attempt on their tender to a couple of thieves).. take care over there..
Yeah, I remember those shallow baths, actually still bath like that. We had 3 kids in the family, and we rotated who went into the bath first. Last one washed in the others dregs
At 17.47……… is that a sailing term? 😂😂 I have followed you guys for awhile and really appreciate your channel and the effort it takes to take US along! All the best Richard 🇬🇧👍❤️
I expect you are already at Madigascar, but seeing the video the Tulula was watching, I wondered if she was disapointed not finding those types of animals on the Island.
I remember that french bon bon on your boat he left a english muffin and dog a while back t Hought the sailing life isnt for him guess it depends on what boat it is hu ha ha all good fun my man
What is the draft of your vessel? I guess most Bruce Roberts are around the 2m, and do you find it sometimes stops you from anchoring in shallower places? Thanks
@ Sorry, should have been more specific. I wanted to ask if you ever had problems with anchoring with any vessels. But I guess you got it and answered what I wanted to know 😂 I am in search of a good vessel (in Ozzy) and most of the ones I am interested in are between 1.8 to 2.1 draft. Thanks for your time! Love your work!
Great job guys as usual….but I still see you doing all this off the wind sailing and your main sheet traveller is always centred……you don’t like using it?
Tallula is such a bright light, keep doing whatever you're doing because she's amazing! 🤗💞
Aw Marley just chilling and Tallulah playing, they are the sweetest ❤
Looks like some serious sailing! You guys are brave but the real hero is your little one. Looks like she was born for it. Cheers! ❤

Same area, and yes we got the same. Part two 2️⃣ of this video, things get wild
They sailed in over 50 knots, I’ll never forget that episode. Oh no reading the comment in this thread doesn’t sound like it was all smooth sailing! 🙀
Geez the old sea dog actually made it there!
Good to know he made it eh…
It's so great you ran into Barry!

She found those types of lemurs on the island!!!!! King Julien!!!!!
Isn't it great how kids just take things in their stride ... Adults really do protect them too much sometimes.
Almost every time people see us loading fuel jerry's into the tender people ask where we are going and I always say Madagascar 😂 we are in qld lol
Tallulah will be disappointed not seeing those cartoon characters when you get to Madagascar 😂
She found the cartoon characters!! King Julien!!!
That is unfortunate the generator is still not working, especially with the two additional people.
Heave to... it's a thing.
Yosh maaaate, are ya gonna check out the penguins when ya get to Madagascar?

Our old boat was a Bruce Robert’s, our current boat is a Tayana. Yes our draft is 2m,!no it has never stopped us from anchoring anywhere
