Lovely drone footage of my local hill. Great views looking down ''the Valley'' from the top. A shame that Loudoun Hill Viaduct was demolished in the '80s. It was a nice surprise to bump into you and Brora on Tinto Hill a few years back. David

Growing up in North Lanarkshire ( Airdrie) every Glasgow fair our scheme would put on buses for a day trip to Ary . Everyone would sing “🎶 you canny shove yer granny off the bus 🎶”on our journey. It was magical the whole street all letting their hair down everyone getting along & the alcohol was flowing. I love Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Was born and brought up in Strathaven, so have camped and walked up Loudoun Hill several times. But does anyone actually know where the battlefield was ? , as I have never been aware of any markers .
The Loudoun Hill Inn , I always thought would make a great Aire for MH’s and campervans, I actually spoke to the current owner and he said that he had considered it at one time.
