Its obvious that the rust on the guns is planted there, that's not how they really found it. But at least they show how to dissasemble and reassemble parts, its educational
Probably they are Russian, it's enough easy for them to find historical russian weapons, probably they just they restore the appearance, probably many of the weapons they restore can no longer even be used, they probably do restorations for museums, or for private sales to collectors.
I can understand your question. I could see a problem obtaining said parts. this rifle is over 80 yrs old and not made. In fact (as I understand) the russians never appreciated the rifle in the first place. The German sure did. They used it and the ammo (after all, why shoot your enemy with your ammo? Use the enemy’s ammo instead). the parts may be hard to find.
tne germans loved the set 40. The russians hated it. the germans appreciated a good mechanical machine (gun or vehicle). For some reason, the russians liked super simplicity. the m91/30 is an excellent example of super simplicity.
The reason why my father George D. Shelton always mentioned to his friends and acquaintances about WW2 is, he lived during that time. Even his aunts and uncles were involved in this kind of war. It was definitely the authorized war, according to the Lord God. The Korean War, Cold War, and the Vietnam War were definitely unauthorized wars. 🇻🇳
not to critcize or anything (really like your channel) but whats the point ? when just a short few years ago these weapons were being delivered by the cratefull into to the syrian conflict. you could get your hands on 1 straight from the factories 1940's nazi germany, of course ammo for them cost a little more . (youtube video -ww2 weapon being used in syrian war).

The springs are always kept best.
I had one of those SVT 40’s years ago….i kicked like a mule when using military surplus ammo!

great work ,, you would not have a TOZ 7 m rear sight among your bits and pieces by chance, restored one and no rear sights available in AU
With all the pitting on it, at least we can tell it was a legit restoration

SVT-40 So Beautiful
But where on earth do you get all these weapons?
Easy, he fakes restorations with demilled guns

WTF are you firing at 39:18??? A Blank one?
Why have you left the outside of the weapon so horribly crusty ?
